Unfortunately Keon appears to be a #3 - #4 WR. Don’t expect too much.

Kincaid is out and Shakir unlikely to play.

 

Move Keon to slot which is his natural position and move Palmer and Moore/Gabe outside. 

 

Keon should get alot of targets

If Keon plays, and he plays slot (given a banged-up Shakir), I can see maybe 4-5 catches for 50-75 yards and a TD mixed in.  That would be the high end of the stats I expect from him this week.

This reminds me of when the Giants (Gettelman) gave Kelvin Benjamin his final lifeline… the opportunity to play tight end.

 

Of course Benjamin had already posted a 1000 yard season. He was actually a gifted player with a broken noggin.

Like I am half kidding but I am really not... maybe that is where he thrives... I dont know but it cant be worse than what we are getting... at least I dont think it is...

On the one hand, it would suck if that was the last ditch effort to salvage the pick.

Pride egotism from the GM and Coaching Staff? Seems very plausible

 

I will say last year until his arm injury Keon seemed to be growing quickly and at times looked very good.

He might grow into it, but I don’t think fans are giving him a fair shake. He has become a lightning rod when it’s more likely he’s being failed than he is failing. 🤷‍♂️
