2020: Packers lost NFCCG

2021: Packers lost division game

2022: Eagles lost SB

2023: Niners lost SB

2024: Lions lost division game

2/5 one seeds got to the SB and lost.

I think the Chiefs have been the best team. But the NFC has had better teams as a whole.

Thanks. Normally I would have just looked it up myself but I’ve been on my phone most of the day and I hate looking stuff up on my phone. Actually I hate typing on my phone too. I have a large screen but fat thumbs lol.

14% chance of getting first seed.  14% chance of missing the playoffs entirely (according to Grok anyway).   I’m rooting for 86% chance of making the playoffs to at least have something to cheer for on wildcard weekend.

what a frustrating season. lol

Just get in. I really don’t care about seeding all that much. The Bills have been crap against inferior teams so it really doesn’t matter who they play.

If your predictions come true, then the Bills go to Indianapolis on WC weekend. JT against the Bills fantastic run defense. What could go wrong here :)

And then even if we somehow won that game, we would go to Arrowhead the next round lol. Good God

There is another one that's been up for weeks pro football network or something like that

Lol so the bills are a bad team?

I believe the Bills beat themselves that game (Dumb turnovers, before the snap penalties, and awful refs and they only lost by 3) When they play in NE I bet its a much different game.

I just did one where the Bills are the 1 seed at 13-4 they lose to the Eagles. The Ravens and Chiefs are also in tho. We are tied with a couple of teams at 13-4 and the Pats have to have 5 losses for this to work

Played around with it a bunch this morning, generally this what I get:

1. Denver (14-3)

2. New England (14-3)

3. Indianapolis (12-5)

4. Baltimore (10-7)

5. Buffalo (11-6)

6. Kansas City (11-6)

7. Los Angeles (10-7)

Do people really believe in the Patriots that much?  I think they're dropping at least 2 more games.  Same goes for Denver.

I could see Buffalo ending up at 11-6.  Maybe even 10-7 and ending up as the 7 seed.  Say what you want about McDermott, but I don't think a McDermott coached team with Allen at the helm goes any worse than 3-3 to end this season.  When I think about matchups in the playoffs, I'd almost rather the Bills end up as the 7 seed.

That said, I could also see them at 12-5 or even winning out and getting to 13-4.

Buffalo loves to rise and fall to their level of competition.  They can beat anyone.  They can lose to anyone.

Anyone who definitively says anything about this team at this point doesn't really have a clue....

outside of making the playoffs.  The Bills are making the playoffs.

Just looking at the Playoff Status website

playoffstatus.com

and I see the Giants are the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention.  Quite a few hanging by their fingernails, but still not eliminated.

Not sure how the %(s) are calculated but the Ravens are at 47% to miss the playoffs ?

Pats @ Bills to kick off the last post season in the Ralph!!!

I’m holding off hope until the pats lose to the ravens giving us wiggle room in the eagles game lol that’ll keep it spicy all the way through week 18

Shoot if we’re making it a dream scenario why not have the Jags lose to Philip Rivers and the Colts too so we get the 1 seed 🥳

Dream scenario? Dream scenario is, like you said, us getting the #1 seed.

That, in all honesty isn’t that far fetched or a fantasied outcome. I think we stand a chance. If the Ravens show up like they did against the Bengals they can win against the Pats. Same with the Dolphins. If the team who beat us Week 10 makes an appearance then there’s another chance they lose.

only problem there is that the Jags are on a heater right now after their loss to the Texans in which they put up 29 against one of, if not the best defense in the league this year. If they beat the Broncos, they're in a prime position to challenge that #1 seed. Which is wild lol

I know you are trying to be funny but the Colts can beat the Jags they just played Seattle really well and Seattle is a good team. Also it's a divisional game anything can happen.

I 100% think the Colts can beat the Jaguars. Definitely onboard.

I don't believe this game matters in the division. In fact, we probably want the Pats to win just to help Pittsburgh. We are tied conference record with NE and trail by one game in divisional. So we need them to lose either to the Jets or Dolphins. As you call out the Dolphins can certainly beat them. Last 5 games the Dolphins are a top 5 EPA net team.  They rank 20th to NE's 17th in DVOA. It's not a long shot by any stretch.

Here you go:

1 Denver bye

2 NE

3 Jax

4 Pitt

5 Buff

6 Chargers

7 Houston

Round 1

Houston over NE

Chargers over Jax

Buff over Pitt

Round 2:

Buffalo over Charges

Houston over Denver

AFCCG

Buffalo over Houston

2 home games as the 5!

This is entirely possible
