So I saw a highlight from yesterday, Allen completed a quick out to someone for a short gain. I remember watching Coleman and wondering if it's normal for a nonplay-side WR to just jog through a route. 
 

I wish I could remember the details, it was a "team highlight" but his effort stood out.

This will be his last year here. I'm not even being that critical of his effort. It's just when you combine everything, the effort, the lack of a connection with Allen, the struggles in this offense, it just makes sense for everyone to get a fresh start. We'll trade him for a sixth round pick or something in the off-season.

 

Coleman will probably want it, and so will the bills.

I actually think the Bills offense will improve with Keon off the field.  Samuel needs more targets too.  People get on his case but he is a professional WR and Josh trusts him.  He did well in the playoffs last season.  Some big catches.

Diggs did that a lot. You could tell if he knew he wasn't getting the ball because he wouldn't run his route.

I think a vast majority of us are not happy with McDermott's efforts as a HC.

It’s wild to me if that’s the case.

 

 

The guy has every opportunity right now to be a superstar. An MVP qb, no real WR competition or pressure around him, and the entire city looking for him to step up.

 

What more could you ask for to get some effort?

I remember seeing Diggs do that a lot. He had a bit more slack though because he was great.

In one of the hard Knox episodes, Brady made a comment about WRs should know they are just running a clearing route, and shouldn’t expect to get the ball.  Brady said “call it an effing Brady Route”.

 

what other offense tells their WRs something like this?  I’m guessing none, and I’m sure it has something to do with Coleman jogging and our passing offense being terrible. 
 

I mean, blown coverage, teams not respecting the deep routes, there’s so many reasons a guy running a deep clearing route…. Could still be thrown the ball.

He could have stayed at the spot and picked Worthy, or selected Ladd with that first pick in round 2.  But he took the worst of the three.  Great job Beane.

Ya think. Ladd was there all day. Coleman had a 45.8 percent contested catch rate in college.  What the hell did you think it would look like in the pros?  The arrogance of beane is breathtaking. Just dumb. Slow, lazy, and not very bright. Bad combination for an nfl receiver.  Also heard about him being disciplined for not showing up to practice a couple of times. Not sure if it’s true.

Then why do they put him in the field more than any other wide receiver?
