The top 4 WRs went before our draft slot that year.  You could if course make an argument to trade up.

Dalton Kincaid went before our draft spot.

We traded up to get him.

Again logic is something you must not understand because we clearly could have traded up a few more and got jsn who was just a few pics before, or flowers, a few pics before

I understand logic perfectly well. And as I just said the 4 top guys went before Kincaid but we could have traded up to get a WR.  Before criticizing logic learn to read.

You made a statement to initiate this by saying TEs cannot be legitimate pass receivers.  That is completely ridiculous, so why not just say so instead of trying to segue into WRs and draft picks.

Beane needs to improve the WR room.  I will concede that.  But also going into yesterday we had the # 1 offense in the league in yards/game.  Yesterday everyone on the team stunk, no more so than Brady.  He has guys like Moore and Samuel that have been productive on other teams but not on ours.  That speaks to a mix of talent level and poor work by the OC.

that Houston game on a short week is not going to be pretty. The only way we win that is to just pound the ball, play field position, and try to grind out like a 16-13 type win.

Houston has the best run defense in the league by EPA right now. They stifled the Bills last season too.

It's unreal how snakebit this team is with injuries this year...and really Buffalo teams in general...same thing is going on with Sabres.

those TE's were all compliments to their team. Gonzalez never won a ring. Kelce won rings when he had great supporting casts with defense and other targets. same with Gronk.

this league isn't like it was just 5 years ago either. defenses are fast and light enough to cover TE's unlike the double headed snake of Hernandez and Gronk or even Antonion GAtes.

My solution would be to transition Kincaid to WR during the off-season. Put on some muscle mass and drop his weight about 10 pounds. Creates some match up advantages against most corners. There's your 50/50 ball guy. Not blazing fast but neither are productive receivers like Puka Nucua. That puts Knox on the field for more plays and makes Coleman expendable if he doesn't produce. Then go get a genuine #1 WR.

What about his injury history? That won't change.

That was the OTHER injury that caused him to miss the Atlanta game and kept him on the injury report. The hammy happened yesterday during the game.

Kincaid either just has extremely bad luck or this is just going to be an ongoing occurrence with him where he either can't stay on the field or he's playing with some kind of injury that hampers performance.  He's never going to be considered elite in this league until that changes.

Speculatively speaking, Kincade is out for 3-4 games.  Probably be back for the Bengals game.

Yeah Dr Chao said on X there is not such thing as a 1 week hamstring.
