Coleman HC punished prior. He isn’t Worthy of our #1. That’s been a crushingly bad choice. It’s not why we lost but it’s crushing for offense

How does a team that is  2 and 7 want the game more than the 6 and 2 team? Coaching. All the way down to the assistants. We need to take a serious look at the bozos at the assistant and coordinator levels. And everyone has Brady's 2 page play book figured out.

4th and 2 is not the same as 4th and half a yard.

In this game the Bills had a great opening defensive series and I believe Allen had a 95% of converting that 4th down with a tush push.  It would not have taken much to get Miami to fold their hand.  And if the Bills didn't get it Miami drives 40 yards for a TD in half the time they used to drive 92 yards for the TD after the Bills punt.

No coach is going for it in that situation. It is also not even close to the reason we lost.

Maybe.

I've heard otherwise.

That this Waddle info coming out now is just smoke by Beanes camp.

Beane wasnt given permission to trade any meaningful assets.  As I said earlier this year, I think Beane is on his way out and they weren't letting him "potentially waste" anything at this point.

I'm ok with this, as honestly it's best realistic case scenario.

McDermott is a great leader and a top notch human being and is easy to root for.

I'm not saying Beane isn't those things. But imo McDermott is much better at his part than Beane is at his.

You should not constantly have to make mid season trades to fix recurring roster problems.

It's very sad to me that our seeming demise coincides w/ the ascension of one of the most successful teams in history.

Will Pats fans really get a 7th before we even get one....if we ever even get one?

I probably sound all self-pity "woe is me," but it really kind of reinforces that life isn't supposed to be fair.  It's sports, so having an unfair outcome isn't the worst thing in the world, but watching them hoist another Lombardi will be a hard day for me if we never get one.

It's the only way I could see myself rooting for Lefleur. A NE GB super bowl

Yes, they will. They are getting one this year. They are probably the best team in the NFL right now. And if they don't they will get some moster additions in FA with all that cap space. They played their second rebuild right after allowing Belichick to screw up the first one. It takes a complete bottom-out and a rookie QB to do it right.

quick question.    i believe it was in the first half....Keon on the left sideline, 3rd or 4th down.... comes incomplete...d player had

both hands on him the entire time, no mention of pass interference...why>?

Right, the problem is that this rarely happens. Statistically it will happen at times, yes, but not enough for us to succeed and plan a proper passing attack. That's kinda the whole point.

one responder said I don't know football. I can except that but I would like to see the tape of the game and check it out

Take it for what it’s worth - I have no documented proof - but I’ve been told that Beane was played by the Fins. He thought he had a deal in place for waddle but mia backed out last minute and Beane had no backup plan nor any time. So he was played by a team with no GM

too funny

and sad

Obviously there's no evidence of this, but if true then we definitely have the stupidest GM in the sport.

Who the hell would take a rival GM at his word or face value without a backup plan? You'd think by like 2pm without a deal done you might ask yourself, you know, I think their trying to !@#$ me!

McDermott seems hellbent on the idea of not allowing rookies to be meaningful contributers.

I dont think thats true.

Its about finding guys who are actually ready to be starters.

Max, yes.  Elam, no.

Keon, no.

Kincaid, way too fragile.

Beane drafts for long term upside, which is ok, but the issue is that he primarily drafts for "need".  He is an open book ---- we need a DE, we go Groot/Boogie.  We need a CB - we go Elam/Benford.  We need a pass catcher -  Kincaid then Keon.

Philosophy aside, when you draft for need in rounds 1/2 -- it will eventually present issues and misses.  Thats been an organizational issue, but Beane especially.  He hit on Josh, again thats about all he has offered in elite players...Cook, yes, but in today's NFL an elite RB is more a luxury than a must

Because Keon plays physically. The refs call it as hand-fighting.

I’m betting that the 3.53 is a mean, not median average.

Which is greatly skewed by several scrambles lasting 6+ seconds.

If this were median, my guess is it wouldn’t be far from Allen’s career average.

Better get used to it. They're ascendant.

how can they luck into another great QB

It's not luck. It's superior scouting.
