Gregg Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago What a boring game and I start off 0-1 in my football pool. Had the Broncos giving 9.5 Quote

Livinginthepast Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago There is only one word that describes this game for me: ABYSMAL Geno Smith is painful to watch. That being said, he got no help from his bumbling teammates Drops, penalties and a lack of execution. The Broncos though seem like a fraud. Another ugly win courtesy of their inept opponents. Quote

Interesting, since it was the Vinovich crew, and for many years he has been ranked as one of the top zebra's, did the 2024 Super Bowl. His crew is noted for "letting them play" Quote
st pete gogolak Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago How bad is Geno Smith? Props to Seattle for dumping him and signing Darnold. 1 1 Quote
BillsFooteball Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Broncos at 8-2 is just wild to me. Hope bills get them in playoffs again. Would plan on a similar result of 31-7 last year 2 1 Quote

Only the second time that has ever happened and the other time it was between two 0-5 expansion teams. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Last night was a great example of why Thursday Night games suck. I've said it for a long time, but if they are going to continue having these farce of a football games on Thursdays, they need to schedule teams coming off their bye weeks for it. Give players a better shot of healing and coaches a better chance to prep. Edited 4 hours ago by BuffaloBillyG 1 3 Quote

Would plan on a similar result of 31-7 last year They're really doing what Kansas City did last year. Just staying in games and pulling off improbable comebacks off in the fourth quarter. While it's not a sustainable way to win over the long haul, it gives them confidence that they can win. Makes them a pain to play Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) 3 hours ago, No_Matter_What said: Agreed. Problem is that both the Chiefs and Ravens will eventually get in. And we will have half of the defense injured but that is another story. Maybe. If the Ravens lose at the Vikings this week (possible) and the Steelers beat the Chargers (possible), they are separated by 3 in the loss column. They’d be tied with the Bengals. They can still make up that ground but the margin for error would be basically nothing (especially if they split with the Steelers). If the Chiefs lose to the Broncos next week (possible) they’ll be functionally 5 games behind the Broncos!! Now they’re looking at a WC slot. The AFCE is taking one of those spots. That leaves 2 more between Jax, Chargers, Texans, Chiefs & AFCN. A loss next week and they’re probably only about even money to be a playoff team. There is a realistic world where neither the Chiefs nor Ravens are in the playoffs. If you told me that that the Bills would have to be a WC but Baltimore & KC would be out, I’d sign up for that. Obviously, I’d prefer the 1 seed too but the Bills would be the AFC favorite in that scenario. Edited 2 hours ago by Kirby Jackson 1 Quote

Especially after the league was dead set on the extra 17th game, they should have long since implemented a 2nd bye week- which would make scheduling the Thursday-Saturday games a lot easier to line up with those bye weeks. Like, it's staring them right in the face... 2 1 Quote

Every once in a while Geno shows a flash of quality, then her reverts back to holding the ball way too long and gets hammered. Still its pretty impressive that he has lasted this long and its shocking that he is a starting QB. His protection was questionable last night but yes on at least 3-4 plays nobody blocked the rusher who had a clear shot on him. He wont last the season if that continues. 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After watching the condensed version, Nix seems to be dead set on getting the ball to Franklin for some reason. Eventually that type of forcing comes back to bite a QB, as it clearly did last night. Quote
