Is Landon Jackson even practicing? Never hear a thing about him.

At this point I don't want to hear anything. If the dude can't even sniff the field, I don't think he's going to help anyways. Waste of a pic up to this point.

Eyerolls and Xs-  Tell me what makes you confident about him being in the field and contributing. I'd love to hear it.

Looking much better today, at least from a participation standpoint. Benford looking iffy. Time to up the reps for Hairston, and unfortunately, the Bills continue to not be able to keep Tre off the field.

It depends if we want to call up Dane Jackson from PS again.

Seems almost certain we'll see Dane again this weekend.

Cook is on pace to have 325 carries for the season. He is not a large guy. I know his smooth running style and body control prevents him from taking a lot of big hits, but he is getting too much work imo. The problem is the Bills entire offense is so extremely reliant on him. If it feels difficult to remove him from the field because there is such a drop off, then it calls into question another area of roster building and depth where Beane deserves scrutiny.

I think Beane is going to draft a pass catching RB high next year. At least i am hoping. We need to keep getting this offense more multidimensional. Imagine a Sproles or McCaffrey. Ty Johnson hasn’t been the player i thought he would be going into the season.

Bosa was holding his wrist after every play Sunday. Concerned he got injured and just played through it on adrenaline and whatever else. Hope it’s not serious but wouldn’t be shocked if it is because we’re not allowed to have nice things.

There are solutions...

Didn't say I was confident although I do believe he has the goods. It would just be nice to hear of any development.  What is he doing? What are they doing with him?

Are they trying to find a Hoecht like role for him or did they give him a wooden spoon?

Agreed. I'd love to hear it too. It would be amazing if he turned it around. I'm assuming at this point that they're just developing him. In the limited time we had him, Hoecht was a menace. I'm pulling for the kid for sure. Just cautious about his contribution at the moment.

For the amount of time I spend listening to WGR and all the related news, he never gets talked about. Maybe secret weapon?

Well... I would not go as far as saying he was a wasted pick. Jackson is a good prospect. As far as getting on the field this year much, I tend to agree with you, though I think there's still a chance he can provide something on obvious passing downs...

He's a rookie... He was Drafted at a position where the Bills already had Groot, AJ, 2024 5th Rd pick Solomon, plus UFA's Bosa and Hoecht... So it's pretty crowded... Now with Hoecht down he's got a chance... He's very athletic for his size, but he is high-cut with skinnier legs so he's going to have to get stronger in his lower half...and that's going to take some time...probably a full off season. He was Drafted after they signed Bosa and Hoecht, so I think they took him more with 2026 in mind tbh... Just my take on it... B-)

Nice to see that Palmer is at least starting to come back. I have a sneaky suspicion that Shaq Thompson and Epenesa will have key (limited but important) roles for the Bills during the last half of the season.

Agreed on Thompson and Epenesa.  Thompson is a more than adequate reliever for Bernard or Milano.  When Hoecht went down the pressure went up for Epenesa to be productive so Buffalo can manage Bosa's reps properly

Is Tre really playing that badly? My guess is that he's been playing at a league average level for a starting CB. He's hardly a disaster out there and is objectively better for every starting CB for the Dallas Cowboys.

Seems like his run defense is decent, but he always seems to be trailing receivers on crossing patterns.

White is graded 79 of 107 qualifying CB's.  Rasul Douglas, who we let walk and will be facing on Sunday is ranked 8th of 107.
