If I recall, most of the country wanted the Eagles to win the SB last season. Lots of people, myself included, just like to see them lose. 4 6 Quote

Reading that, I felt that was a crap statement as America's Team generally means they have a large plurality of fans. However, to follow the Cowgirls model, when they were considered America's Team, much of it was because almost no one had a "I don't care" about them attitude, those that weren't Cowgirl fans were mostly Cowgirl haters. From that aspect, I think the Chefs may be getting there. 1 1 Quote

Fleezoid Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I watched with the sound off. I've had enough of Romo. Unfortunately, I'll have to listen to him this week. At the bar in Tampa to watch the Bills side by side with the Bucs vs Pats. 2 Quote

My wife isn't a Swiftie but she reads what the Swifties are saying and they were all crying about the hit Bishop laid on Kelce, which was perfectly legal. They are generally clueless about the rules and the mechanics of football. 2 1 4 Quote
Inigo Montoya Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Josh Allen is the most exciting player to watch in the NFL today. He's charismatic, and by all accounts, seems to be a genuinely good person. I think people hate-watch the Chiefs like they did the Cowboys and then the Patriots with Brady. I suspect people watch Allen because they like him and its usually a good show. (AFCE and Chiefs fans excepted) Edited 1 hour ago by Inigo Montoya 2 4 Quote

HOWEVER, when Bishop hit Travis, she yelled "Take that you bum"! 1 6 6 1 Quote

Good lord...on X there's a massive contingent of Ravens fans who have 17 living rent free in their heads on a daily basis. But you're right though. There's lots of people who don't necessarily like the Bills, but enjoy watching Josh Allen. Edited 1 hour ago by Billz4ever 1 Quote

I think in addition to these being two powerhouse QB's with good teams there's also a familiarity fans have. These teams all but once since 2020 have faced off twice a season in mostly close matchups (2020 AFCCG and 2020 Regular season being the only ones where I can think of that weren't close games) so fans have come to not only be familiar with the rivalry but expect it. Gregg Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The Bills vs Chiefs has become a great rivalry. Allen and Mahomes are this generations Brady and Manning. 2 Quote

There's lots of people who don't necessarily like the Bills, but enjoy watching Josh Allen. I work with a huge Ravens fan and he thinks Lamar is a better QB than Josh. I never challenge him on it, it's a work etiquette thing for me, I try not to make waves. The bottom line is that Lamar chokes when it matters, and Josh plays his best when it matters. I don't know how many more times we need to see that playout before people finally accept that Lamar simply does not rise to the occasion. I think Ravens fans know it and subconsciously over compensate with the Allen hate because they know that, unlike their guy, Allen does not wilt under the bright lights. If Allen had been drafted by Baltimore, the Ravens and Allen would have three Super Bowls already. Edited 1 hour ago by Inigo Montoya 2 2 Quote
WotAGuy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I am on vacation and could only listen to the radio broadcast of the game. Took me back as a kid listening to Bills’ games in the 60s and 70s, using my Tyco electric football field to keep track of where the line of scrimmage was after each play. Yahoo sports has a good game tracker. 3 Quote
