Actually yes, IR As a WR4, he could make a major impact, IMO I don't recall Davis doing anything consistently: separate, catch, run the correct route... 1 Quote

He also disappeared for chunks of the season. I loved him when he was turned on. P.S. I just rewatched every Davis catch in the KC game... So much fun seeing Josh throwing downfield. Why can't Brady scheme like that? 1 Quote

Why can't Brady scheme like that? Couple things: the backend of that KC defense was in shambles (Dan Sorensen was especially toast) and we had a real NFL receiving room (prime Diggs, Beasley, Sanders and Davis). 2 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Josh comment certainly leads to him playing…perhaps even taking all of Keon Coleman’s snaps Quote

Especially after listening to what Sal said. But I don't think this comment says much of anything. It's kind of a nothing answer that he'd say regardless of whether he was playing or not. On the "taking all of Keon Coleman's snaps" comment - I don't think you're going to see that. Unless the tweets today mean he's actually being discussed as part of a Trade. Then he'd be Inactive and yeah, that's possible. Edited 3 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 1 2 Quote
davefan66 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Could see him activated for sure. Wouldn’t hurt us in the least bit. Palmer is out. Samuel is a joke. Why not play him if healthy enough? 1 Quote

I wouldn’t say that, but anything is better than the downfield production we are getting from the WRs right now minus a couple of flashes from Palmer who’s now sidelined until further notice. Wed better trade for a separator, or were not going anywhere. Quote

Allen was statistically at his worse when Gabe was on the field. Yet even I think Gabe is an improvement over Coleman. At least pre-injury Gabe - I don’t know what he has left now. Its become so dire that I had dream last night that we traded for Pat Freirmuth and it was an improvement somehow. 1 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) For me this is a real test of McDermott's coaching acumen. If Palmer is ruled out (which is looking likely) then let's face it - our best deep threat / X receiver would appear to be....gulp - Tyrell "The Shell" Shavers. Now.... even an eighty percent fit Davis would offer more. And of course he would know at least a few plays off the bat. The only question mark is his fitness. No ifs or buts. We have no way of knowing what his fitness level is. But if McD pulls the trigger and places him on the active roster it will tell me three things: 1... Gabe has reached the minimum required fitness level to play a handful of snaps and has looked at least serviceable in practice 2... That McD is acutely aware that he cannot threaten to get the dub against the Cheafs without at least a symbolic deep threat - if not an actual one 3... That this would be a risk worth taking given what is at stake Dunno about the rest of you, but I am praying for a surprise call up. . Edited 3 hours ago by SydneyBillsFan 1 1 Quote

quincy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It would make sense to see what Davis has got this Sunday, an internal addition to the WR room against our biggest foe. After the game then we still have options to explore before the deadline. Shaheed offers a very intriguing two for one opportunity, speed WR plus KR/PR with Codrington being unable to offer anything as a DB. Quote
