Poyer has looked good the last 2 games he has played in.

2nd half Atlanta and Carolina.

A lot better than what had been going on back there.

I really thought it was gonna be Zion Logue instead of Jordan Phillips, not that it really matters...or that they might have looked outside the team for a temporary solution.

I like the Poyer/Hancock usage.

With WR/DT the trade deadline necessities if a move is made, we could do a lot worse than a solid vet and a potential future starting safety opposite Bishop.

Phillips is solid in Buffalo.  Capable of making a play like we saw against Mahomes in clutchtime AFC CG and he’s a perfectly fine DT4/5 if we can keep Jones, Ogunjobi and Walker healthy and get back Sanders at some point.

Zero issue with either of these two and not just because it’s out of necessity.

Ideal, no.. but we should be ok with how

both are being used.

Dropped Passes and INT's off his fingertips soon to follow

All true, BUT, you also saw Davis get open deep, make tough toe tap sideline catches and he had a knack of coming back to the ball and helping out his QB when the pocket breaks down.  With the current crop of WR's I've seen very little of any of these things.

Yeah, Rapp was really struggling, especially his tackling. Interesting we got the Poyer/Hancock, White/Hairston rotation going on at the same time. Along with Walker stepping in for DeQuan, we're seeing the defensive starters getting younger in front of our eyes.

I too thought it would be Logue because I do think it matters. With Ogunjobi and Phillips pairing , Larry was playing the 1T early on and was having a tough time anchoring vs the run.
