I’m so tired of hearing how salary cap constraints are preventing Beane making moves. How does Howie Roseman bring in 3 quality starters with all the ProBowlers on their roster. This guy doesn’t not project urgency in the way he runs the Bills. Hopefully the win against KC doesn’t put back in his shell and we get stiffed. I'm afraid Beane views things much differently than Roseman. One guy views it as we're all in to win with the team we have now. The other not so much, wants to be good every year and in the hunt. And, that's good enough for him. Guess which one is which? 1 Quote

They doubled Hoecht a lot and he still made a corruption impact! Losing him yesterday is massive. It wrecked the win for me. I hope Beane makes a deal today somehow. My spidy phone is telling me to watch out for a trade with the Giants and Bills. Sexy Dex? hmmmm Nice take, I wish I could be more confident Beane makes a move. I watched him in the press box yesterday and he looked shaky. He knows this team desperately needs fortification and I think he’s afraid to spend draft capital to make it happen. Everyone says he’s making calls about all these positions but where are the F-ing deals. If we get stiffed we’ll suffer the consequences in January. 1 Quote

You watched him in the press box yesterday and he looked shaky? Are you talking about the moments they showed him on TV during the game? Or were you at the game looking into his box with your binoculars? What about his appearance made him look shaky to you? Were his hands trembling? Was his face white as a ghost? Was he sobbing? 1 4 2 1 Quote

They said it on the broadcast - Hoecht was the doubled man, his loss was significant. This is a massive loss. beane will make a move because now we know what it could be..... The game changed immediately upon his injury. The next play was 4th and 17. Does that p!ay succeed if he is still in or does KC even go for it? 1 1 Quote

Scary Terry not a realistic option with the new contract he just signed. I mentioned Eddie Goldman in another thread. Expiring contract, rotational NT, cheap and won’t cost much. Not going to move the needle but brings in an experienced body. I don’t think they would do it but i would call the Falcons about Kaden Elliss. If you’re looking for a guy who can play Hoecht role like Hoecht then he is your guy. Pending Free Agent, he’s 30 years old but he’s another hustle, strength, speed guy. 1 Quote

Your statement describes the fix we’re in. Beane is like a CEO making business decisions in hopes of being a playoff team in concert with the new stadium and if a SB falls into our lap, fine but no heroic efforts should be expected. Draft capital will not be squandered on any trade deadlines. 1 1 Quote

This tells me they know we need a solid rusher like Hoecht. They need to make a move today IMO if we want to win in the playoffs. 1 Quote

Bosa could’ve moonwalked in for a sack in fact it was so easy for him that he figured he was getting played by the chiefs and hesitated for a second or two lol. Chiefs blew the blocking assignment so badly that it worked out in their favor 😂. Bosa would’ve felt awful if we ended up losing the game I’d imagine Edited 6 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

He’s made calls about every available FA and all I hear is how much cap space we have currently. Will you be asking about how confident he is when he says we’re good with what we have. Tell me about how we’re set up to win with the way this roster has been constructed. Being a good fan doesn’t mean you support crappy management and criticize detractors.. I swallowed that stuff for 2 decades. No more Quote
CirclnWagons Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I really don’t understand the worry about trading away picks. This admin has a proven track record of not being very successful with early round draft picks. Why not leverage one or two of those picks for a proven commodity now? 1 Quote
dave mcbride Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago From a couple of days ago, but this Diane Russini piece is still relevant: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6767924/2025/11/01/nfl-trade-deadline-2025-rumors-news-tush-push/ 'Team and league sources tell me the following: Cleveland star Myles Garrett is not getting traded. Teams have checked in, but as one high-ranking source texted: “He’s a Brown and will remain a Brown.” Miami has received interest from the Eagles, 49ers, Patriots and others on OLB Jaelan Phillips (The Dolphins are looking for at least a third-rounder in return). They’re also getting calls on DE Bradley Chubb and OLB Matthew Judon. (Two days after the publication of this column, the Eagles acquired Phillips for a third-round pick.) The Eagles also asked the Jets about Jermaine Johnson. It makes sense, considering former Jets GM Joe Douglas drafted him in New York and is now Philly’s senior personnel director. However, New York has held a high asking price of a second-round pick or better. Many teams, including the Rams, 49ers, Lions, Colts and Eagles, have called the Bengals on numerous players, including LB Logan Wilson, CB Cam Taylor-Britt and, of course, DE Trey Hendrickson. For now, some teams don’t believe Cincinnati has any real interest in moving its core pieces. The Bills were one of the teams that inquired in recent weeks about Saints WR Chris Olave. New Orleans is still expected to retain its top wideout. The Raiders have fielded calls from the Steelers and Bills on WR Jakobi Meyers, but Las Vegas has set a high price. Pittsburgh is looking at other wide receiver options, too. The Giants do not plan to move pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. They previously told inquiring teams that the price would be a first-round pick. The Patriots are searching for a pass rusher but feel good about their offensive weapons. Running back could be a possibility because of recent injuries. The Seahawks and Chargers are exploring potential offensive line additions. The Lions are looking for help at safety and defensive line. The Commanders are in the market for a pass rusher. The Broncos are monitoring the tight end market, even after signing Marcedes Lewis to their practice squad. The players the Titans are fielding the most calls on: DE Arden Key, LB Dre’Mont Jones, RB Tony Pollard and DT T’Vondre Sweat. The Chiefs have been actively searching for defensive line help. The Colts need corners and have been calling. The Ravens and Packers are also looking for corners. The Jaguars are looking for a defensive tackle. They have received lots of interest in WR Brian Thomas Jr., but no substantial offers. Most around the league believe it would take a first-round pick and then some to land the 2024 Pro Bowler. The Jets have been getting calls on RB Breece Hall for a while, and while there is interest, New York is looking for at least a third-round pick in return. Hall is in the final year of his rookie deal. Teams are also continuing to monitor DT Quinnen Williams, despite a high price tag.' 1 Quote
