dave mcbride Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago They are a problem, and they have a cupcake schedule. Plus they are extremely well-coached. It’s also now clear that Maye is (unfortunately) the real deal. My one hope for a loss is their game at Tampa, but the Bucs have so many injuries that I expect the Pats to be favorites. They will slaughter Atlanta, I expect. 1 1 1 1 Quote

ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The one thing Maye has over Allen is a lethal deep ball. He was dropping buckets the entire day. 1 Quote
LEBills Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They are too young to really be a threat, they’ll mess up either in season or in the playoff. Should be a pain to deal with in a year or two. 1 2 2 1 1 Quote

I do t think he was saying Maye is better or even as good as Allen… because he isn’t.. IMO what Maye has that Allen doesn’t is better coaching.. I think McDaniels is an Amazing OC and Vrabel a really good HC.. 1 3 Quote

It happens, and they’re going to drop a few games they shouldn’t (like we did). I expect to win the East, but they’re going to fight us the whole way. Vrabel coaches his players well. I’m not a McD hater but it would be very interesting to imagine what our team would look like under his leadership 1 Quote

Success Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Call me in denial, but I'm a "jury is still out" guy. I thought the Browns might give them their 1st tough test (I don't count the Hochuli game), but the Browns O was absolutely abysmal today, and lost the TOP battle badly, as well as the turnover battle. They'll have a better record this year than they will next year. 1 Quote

They molded him into an offensive machine. Maye was a lot more polished coming out of college whereas Allen had to be broken down and reconstructed. Not to take away from McDaniels who is obviously a well respected coordinator who’s been around a long time, but Daboll is no slouch either. 1 Quote

zow2 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago When i looked at that game the Browns were leading 7-3, late second Qtr maybe 5 mins left? They just intercepted Maye and returned it inside the Pats 35. and they didn’t score again?! Not sure what happened. Quote

Maye marched down twice to get 2 FG.. the 3rd quarter he hit his groove and threw 3 TD passes game over.. 6 minutes ago, Success said: Call me in denial, but I'm a "jury is still out" guy. Teams will absolutely start scheming harder against Maye, and if he can continue to get the better of defenses that will be impressive. I do expect them to lose a couple games that they are favored in. All teams do. 1 Quote
Chaos Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Vrabel is a solid coach who never had the advantage of having an excellent QB. Hopefully he doesn't know how to capitalize on that situation. Quote
Success Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Pats nation is full of themselves again, unfortunately. The online discourse on some of the general boards is comical. Man, that didn't take long - or much. The entitlement w/ that group is really something to behold. 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago McDaniels does a great job of protecting Maye. He also has a decent defense keeping most games close. NE is probably where Denver was last year. Maye runs into a team that scores enough to make him throw 40 times a game against a good defense we'll get a better idea of whether he's arrived or not. 1 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Yeah, they were able to secure a good Head Coach and hit the jackpot on all 3 of their Top Draft Picks the past 3 seasons with an All Pro CB, a Franchise QB, and a future All Pro OT. On top of that, they had more money under the cap than every other team in the league and spent wisely. Securing Stefon Diggs who bounced back from his ACL without missing a step. The division honestly looks like less than a 50% proposition to me, now that they have a game up on us. At the time, that loss didn't seem like the end of the world. Now we must beat them in their house and beat their record. A big ask with how they're looking lately. 1 Quote
