Again, don't know if that's true or not? But if a guy is balling out in games, that practice stuff is just noise. If he's not performing in games the practice stuff matters more and irks the coaches and GM. It's definitely something and not good when they want to move on your in your 2nd year after taking you in the 1st. And.... Quote

Jags would never take that even if they were actively open to trading him which I still don’t believe. I think it’s more ‘someone called on BTJs availability and Jax said sure if you give us an arm and a leg he’s available’ Quote

He just became wayyyy more important to them. If they were trading BTJ it is because he is a malcontent and they just want him out of there. There's no on field football reason to actually trade him in season. If you are worried about trade value because he's lazy trading him in the off-season is likely better because more teams will have roster flexibility. I have always thought this was a pipedream because I can't think he's been that much of a malcontent that they would be willing to trade him for anything less than a 1st plus other picks which is likely an offer no one will make. So I don't see this changing much either way. If they just want him out of there and are looking for value draft capital wise that's not changing. But if they aren't looking to trade him than this just only reinforces that. TLDR: If they were seriously considering trading him it would be because he so bad in the locker room they just want him out and this doesn't change that. But I don't think that is the case. Quote

They are 4-3 and in a good spot for a potential WC run. Throwing in the towel because Hunter will be out a few weeks is foolish. They just need BTJ to snap out of his funk. 40 minutes ago, Mat68 said: Coleman and a 3rd for Thomas Jr. Both could benefit with a change of scenery. Another WR that needs a change of scenery: Adonai Mitchell from the Colts. Coleman for Mitchell. Trade bonehead for bonehead. Quote

BuffaloBillies Posted yesterday at 05:42 PM Posted yesterday at 05:42 PM I would take him for sure - but just an observation of 1 here after watching 3 full Jag games this year... I have seen him multiple times alligator arm throws across the middle that he definitively could have caught. I was surprised each time the commentators didn't pick up on it. Either scared or half-hearted at times. Quote

The initial report was that teams were calling them about potential trades but that it was "highly unlikely" he'd be traded. How people got "omg he's available!" from that is beyond me. It's like this time of the year a name plus the word trade pops up in a blurb and that's all people see. 4 hours ago, Low Positive said: You want a bonehead WR? Physically violent ?? I haven’t heard any of that, I just did a google search and nothing seems to be coming up… what did I miss ? 1 Quote

Regardless, they're 4-3 so they weren't going to be sellers anyways, IMO. 1 hour ago, BillsFanForever19 said: There's a MAJOR difference between immature bonehead and physically violent bonehead... Absolutely. The spelling is very different for one thing. 1 hour ago, julian said: Physically violent ?? That's strange because "domestic assault"was the first thing that popped up when I Googled his name + physically violent. Edited 18 hours ago by Sierra Foothills 1 Quote
