Rubes Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a broken collarbone in the team's 24-9 Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions, the team announced. Quote A source told ESPN that Evans will undergo surgery this week to repair his collarbone, as first reported by NFL Network. Evans also suffered a concussion during the game. The hope is that he will be back before the end of the regular season, coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday, adding that Evans is "doing well." Bucs also have injuries to OLB Haason Reddick ("Bowles said Reddick will miss some time") and Chris Godwin Jr. ("It's a week-to-week thing right now"). Just putting that news out there since the Bills face the Bucs on Nov 16th, 4 games from now. 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago This one places his timeline as "8 weeks or fewer". However, unless he suddenly gets Wolverine level healing powers, he won't be playing against us. Quote
Lost Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Crazy thing is with Evans, Godwin and McMillan all out, they still arguably have a better WR room than the Bills. 1 5 8 Quote

The Bills game is the 4th one. Quote
Big Turk Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That was pretty obviously coming...probably going to miss most of the regular season with a broken collarbone Quote

Knee joints are amazing simple these days. From HA injections to simple ligament work - it can be as little as 2 weeks for many things. 2 Quote
H2o Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Sad that the Evans 1,000 yard season streak will end this way. 2 Quote

I thought he was the 4th best prospect in the draft and he hasn’t disappointed. What a friggin stud. I think he’ll be the best all around TE in the league very soon if he’s not already. Agree on Egbukas ability 💯 though. Might be elite right now. Quote

rajinka Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Honestly they could play Jackmerius Tacktheritrix and Javaris Jamar Javarison-Lamar against this secondary and they'd have career games 1 Quote
Shaw66 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Evans is one of my favorite receivers. He fights for everything, and he's such a good athlete, he wins most fights. He's an absolute workhouse. I thought when he came out of college that he was too slow, but that was obviously wrong. Forget that it was the same year as Sammy. What a blunder Sammy turned out to be. 1 Quote

machine gun kelly Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago I really feel for Bucs fans including my two sons. As some of you know I live in Tampa now, and all of my friends down here are big Bucs fans. Evans has been so consistent for so long. As some know he’s had the most consecutive 1000 yard seasons in the history of the league. Quote
