For me the only realistic option is Olave.   There are a few categories each of these guys fall into, including AJ Brown who was mentioned in another post.

Ridley, Waddle, and AJ Brown all fall into the money sense category.  Ridley is owed close to 15 million for the remainder of the year, and another 22 million dollars on average over the next two seasons.  Thats a horrible idea.  Miami would have to eat 9 million dollars in cap over the next two years to move Waddle.   The Eagles would need to eat 25 million in cap space over the next three years to move Brown.   They'd get no cap relief until 2028.

Jeudy, Cooks, and Robinson are either over the hill or JAGs.  The juice isnt worth the squeeze.

Olave and Wilson both have tradeable contracts.  The Saints need a QB, and the Jets need a QB and almost everything else.  Sadly, I am not sure the Jets are stupid enough to trade Wilson in the division.  Olave is the most tangible of any available wideout.

I don’t know what Jeudy’s contract looks like but he is coming off a year where he had 90 for 1,229 with bad QB play. That would be a top 10 or 11 receiving season in Bills history.

Olave is the best player realistically available. 25 and under contract through next year. His concussion history is bad but part of that was being subjected to Carr crash’s hospital balls.

He is a good but not great WR1. If we have any hope of fixing this WR group this year, it involves him. But probably need someone else too that is a true deep threat like his running mate Shaheed.

And the rest of his career his numbers are okay but not number 1 category.

I have serious doubts that this coaching staff could even utilize a top-tier receiver correctly, if we had one.

Diggs had four straight seasons with 1000 yards and was an all-pro. Come on.

Tired - The Bills need a number 1 WR. Wired - The Bills need a number 1 and a number 2 WR

Some other names that could fill one of the spots Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, DJ Moore, JaJuan Jennings

its amazing how delulu some fans are to eyeroll we need help on offense.

the loser mentality of merely going to the dance is good enough for some i guess. it's always nice to show up. it takes a special type to know how to bag the homecoming queen.

If we lose to the Panthers the only trade I want to see is with SF. Josh Allen for a 1st. Let him go with a competent organization.

But back to your premise if we get Olave I want another WR, too.

Ridley and Olave - sending Samuel or Davis or someone else young would be fine - is what i would take.

Are you serious,  your going to trade Allen in the prime of his career for a low round first.  Why not bring back Tyrod Taylor

Sorry, there aren't any. Money positions like DE and WR have to be filled via the draft/offseason.

October will get you Amari Coopers.

I hate to bring bad news, but there are no October trades coming to save us at WR.

Sure but he’s 26 years old and is a former 1st round pick from Alabama. If you’re asking, “who is more likely to become a number 1 WR, Jeudy or anyone on the roster?” It is Jeudy and not particularly close. He has the pedigree, skill set and production, albeit limited. He is MILES ahead of the internal options.

I tend to agree with this but Coleman has been so bad that any upgrade moves the needle.

I don't know if there are any out there but those being Moore & Palmer that were brought in with all this hype sure are not the answer I would rather have them bring Cooper back I think he would be better than either of them .

They also need to start using Knox, & Cook more in the passing game . I also had no clue why if Josh said Ty is the best 3rd down back in the league why they called a jet sweep with Moore on that play only to drop the ball .

Ty like Knox & Davis have all been almost a forgotten piece of the puzzle has Brady forgotten what he did with them last season to be the highest scoring offense in the league ? They better change something and do it fast because what they have been doing isn't working .

Shaheed!!!!!!!!

Would like it, but I don't see why the Saints would move him.  They've got a first-year head coach who has an offensive background, so they're going to hoard weapons for (1) evaluating Rattler (2) for their next QB when they decide Rattler isn't the answer.

Put yourself in the shoes of a Saints fan.  You'd be pissed if they traded away Shaheed unless the other team overpays.

he’s a free agent in March and they are almost definitely drafting a QB in April.  I could actually see the Saints wanting Coleman.  He fits their timeline better than ours.  Coleman and a 5th for Shaheed and Kamara.

This is sad ,1/4 into the season with one of the best QB's in the league we are crunching analytics to see who we need as a number one receiver.

He’s a free agent the end of this year and if they’re not planning to resign him it makes a lot of sense to get something for him.   I’m sure they’ll at least try to move one of him or olave…maybe no one will bite for the right price though

Good points.  Thanks!  That makes him a rental (of course we could re-sign him if it works out really well), which should limit the price.
