A lot has gone wrong to start the year despite their record. What changes would you like to see during the bye week? The biggest issue on the team today is a lack of WRs. If the Bills are to win it’s because of Josh (who isn’t playing great). Teams now just send guys and leave the receivers in man. The Bills have the worst WRs in the NFL. I’d make a deal for Olave AND a deal for Meyers or Bourne. Those would be my perimeter receivers. I’d send out at least 1 WR in the deal. It doesn’t matter which one. Shakir will remain in the slot. The position group needs an overhaul not an upgrade. Coleman being a stiff hurt. They needed him to be really good (like 1200 and 8 TDs good). He’s not even playable at this point. Next, I’d fire Babich. This whole defense is 🗑️. I don’t have an easy fix there but anything is better. Rush Hairston back. He has to come back and play immediately. Any growing pains will just be regular plays for Tre at this point. Play Hancock over Rapp. Get the injured/suspended guys back. Sign Asante Samuel. All of that combined might make your defense have a pulse. yes to everything Quote

They got lucky in 2019 signing Brown & Beasley and getting great play from them for a couple of years. Every year since then the Bills sign a couple of WR's on the cheap hoping to get similar results. And they have failed. And in spite f throwing a lot of FA money & draft capital at the D the Bills do not have an impact, game changing player on this unit. 5 1 Quote
Pecker Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago If we are honest, the bills have played like hot garbage in all 6 games this year. And we haven’t played a single contended yet. I think we need to be thinking rebuild unfortunately. If we assume Hairston is a starter, we need two new safeties, one new LB, two studs on the DL, 3-4 WRs, and a backup RB. 1 3 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago 1. Fire Babich - That is the obvious one 2. Trade for a WR- it's so sad we are living in this world again Unfortunately those are really the only two things I think the bills can do that will move the needle a bit. It is a flawed roster with poor coaching 5 Quote

Walking Tall Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago As far as changes go I wouldn’t make any in the front office or coaches. I’d save that for the end of the season if needed. Player-wise, Bernard gets benched. He’s too small and slow to diagnose running plays. He is constantly just out of reach of making plays. That is a sign of not being adequate. Tre White should also be shown the bench. Jordan Poyer, though he is slow, has some great instincts. I’d get him on the field more spelling Cole Bishop. I’d look to trade for a wide receiver and safety. 2 Quote

No one is saying the Chiefs are done when they were 2-3 and now 3-3. Get a grip. Lol ok big guy. First it was 4 and 1, then 4 and 2. Look, you can think what you want but this team has 2 good players out of 53. And KC has earned the benefit of the doubt, are you kidding. 1 1 1 Quote

Best a LB on the team by a huge margin. He sure is. The D turned around in the second half when Poyer went it too. When they put Bishop back in, is when they marched down the field and got the FG. cam Lewis was good too 2 Quote
NickelCity Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago - Babich has got to go. - Hancock needs run in place of Rapp. - We need separators at WR. And not really a "move" but Hairston needs to be a real player because Tre is a bummer to watch. Also I've been a Beane defender on average but this team looks to have a talent problem. Quote
Brandon Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Not much to add, but I agree with both points completely. Quote

Jerry Jabber Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago To get out of the slumps the Bills were in, the Bills fired Dorsey two years ago, then traded for Cooper last year. Curious to see what they do this year. Quote

Just regarding wr's, they need to move Coleman to the slot full time, he just doesn't have the speed or separation to play outside but does have the size to play slot. This would become a match advantage for the bills Shakir will be useful anywhere you line him up - maybe use him more like San Fran has done with deebo minus the running in the past. Just get him the ball as much as possible when throwing Speaking of San Fran as they get healthy at wr maybe they would be willing to trade a Bourne or Jennings Palmer going down early this game killed a lot of the bills game plan, guessing they were about to finally highlight him 2 Quote

To use multiple free agency signings on defensive linemen with steroid suspensions looming? Every thing on this team is downstream of McDermott. I think he and McD work together but Beane ultimately has the final decision. Quote

Over the past few years the Bills have had similar bad stretches. But this feels different. Last season the Bills went from 3 - 0 to 3 - 2 losing to the Ravens & Texans in back to back weeks. While the Bills looked bad in those games they lost to 2 division winners on the road. I don't think Atlanta or NE are as strong as last seasons Houston/Baltimore teams. 1 Quote

It’s aggressive but I think they were giving him to the bye. It feels like every week, the defense comes out sloppy and unfocused and misaligned for the 1st half. It has become unacceptable, even to McD imo. Lol, you just described the Babich defense yes but you also described the McDermott defense. They are the same. They suck. 10 minutes ago, T.E. said: Do you guys honestly think Beane is deciding, of his own accord, to use the first five draft picks on defense?
