To fire or not to fire?

  1. 1. It's all up to you. Do you fire Sean McDermott?

    • Yes. Gotta stop wasting Josh Allen
    • No. He turned the team around and deserves more time.

You think he lost the locker room 9 years ago? Lol

No, I know he did.

Laugh all you want but maybe you're new here and don't know

One more week of, "it's hard to win in this league......we need to play complimentary football.......blah, blah, blah".

For 9 years, we've heard this every week........9 years!!!

Enough is enough already.

13 seconds should have been the moment that McD was let go. It would have been the perfect opportunity for our FO to let him walk and save a little face doing it, but we saw the biggest meltdown of all time on the field and our FO decided that maybe it can't get any worse...........it can and it will.

I’ve been on record that he needs to go. Problem is I do not trust Pegula to hire the right people.

If the Bills job opened up it would be one of the most attractive jobs to come to because of #17. Pegula would have his choice of top GM's and HC's wanting to work for him. This isn't the Jets where top candidates will avoid that job like the plague.

If he goes, Curt Cignetti is my guy. I’ve been a little lukewarm on the idea because he’s 64. I just keep going back to that swagger that he brings. His team believes that they are better than everyone. He is a winner with a winner’s mentality.

And I still don’t trust Pegula to make the correct decision.

Glad to see McChoke is finally being held accountable by the fan base, but there is no chance Pegula makes moves prior to the stadium opening. This is a business, first and foremost.

Beane should be gone too, along with both coordinators and half the roster. We wasted a unicorn while people were fooled by McBeane.

I can't argue with that as the Sabres are an example that you can easily be right about this.

It feels to me like lots of guys could do what he’s done. Is it hard to win the AFCE and a playoff game with Josh Allen? How many guys coaching in college or the NFL could do that? I think the answer is a big number. There just isn’t a lot of risk IMO. If you hire a guy coaching in the NFL or college that has had some success, what is the floor with this team and schedule? 10-7?

As I mentioned in a previous post if the Bills job opened up it would be a very attractive one because of 17. Pegula could still mess things up, but he would have the top candidates begging to come here with the franchise QB already in place.

I think drafting is a much bigger issue than coaching. I would prefer to start with a GM who isn't so close to McD and the guys on the roster. Distance from your lead administrator is sometimes necessary to make the right decision.

I have no faith in Pegula to tear this thing down and rebuild it. ZERO.

Keep the coach, hire a new talent evaluator.

If the Bills hire a new GM, then McDermott is probably gone as the new GM will want to bring in his own HC. You see this all the time in sports when a new GM takes over.

So be it.

But firing McD and sparing Beane is futile.
