I don't like Maye being good. I wanted the Pats to be in QB purgatory for a long time. Having Brady, then a few years of crap, then a good QB isn't fair. 

 

funny to look back on draft night a couple years ago when Belichick was talking about maye as though he was a bad pick.

At this point who has had the better career? JJ has 3 Defensive Player of the year awards. TJ only 3 sacks behind JJ and likely will have many more.

The chip in the ball that is used for tracking can't be used for spotting bc it is only accurate to 6 inches (and is in the middle of the ball), and there are other issues like being able to track the signal in a mass of bodies.

 

The NFL needs to invest to advance the technology so it can be used for spotting sooner than later - it is such a huge opportunity for human error in 'a game of inches'
