Panic is too strong of a word in week 6, but thank goodness the AFC is down this year. 

 

This is an Atlanta team that got shutout by Carolina. 

 

Long way to go, but the Bills aren't looking like SB material.

None of those guys are very good, I hope you see that. Milano is 4 years past prime, Benford is a solid #2 playing #1, Oliver doesn't move the needle, and then two steroid guys. Hoecht has a career high 6 sacks 2 years ago lol he is a jag.

One less turnover, or a different ref crew - and it's a good bet we're the last undefeated team in the league.

 

I feel like we need an AR "R-E-L-A-X" or something.  We have some needs for sure, but we also have some guys coming back, and 2 guys coming who haven't even seen the field yet.  I'd agree that the secondary is a concern right NOW, but either Hairston or Strong back will help quite a bit.

 

And I expect a move or 2 by the deadline.  But it's not like we're in a dire situation here.  Remember KC's season last year?  They won something like 11 games by a play or 2.  There was a ton of hand-wringing there, and they still made it to the SB.

 

I still think this is the best team in the AFC, by a somewhat comfortable margin.

 

 

OK, how about NOW?  Is panic an acceptable response now?

Im not willing to throw away a Josh Allen season. I want McD gone immediately, but cant justify it with two young coordinators. I highly suspect Babich lost game call duties at half time.

 

I think im:

-Firing Babich in AM

-McD can call rest of year

-Go get the best WR you can

-Kick the tires on a 2nd RB upgrade or rental (lowest priority by far, but exploring)

-Telling Brady to pull out all the stops. Unlearn the word complimentary. The goal is 40/game. Get ahead, turn these offenses into 1-D units, let these pass rushers get after it full time

playing with a lead is the most complimentary thing we could do for our defense 

 

they need to be able to overcommit to stopping one thing. They don’t have the talent to stop a full playbook and unfortunately the other teams don’t seem to want to tell us run or pass pre snap like we do for them
