This is an honest question. If the Bills fire McDermott? Who would you hire to get the Bills over the hump and into the Superbowl? Not any coach currently coaching another team college or pro. Those coaches who are unemployed, who would you hire?

That's an end of season question right?  I'd have preferred Belichik or Vrabel over the clapping shiitthead.   Need to see whose available end of season.

Not end of season. Now

You don’t need to hire an unemployed coach.

There’s lots of promising OC’s or DC’s that would jump at a chance to be the Bills HC.

Honestly, I’d probably promote Brady, and try to hire the hottest DC in the league. Maybe Brian Flores would be interested.

I’d be willing to take Bill Belichick and roll the dice he can make this defense special for a year or two.

Or I’d hire the next Shanny Disciple and give Josh a consistent offensive system for the next 5-6 years.

So many good options outside of letting McD and Beane try to turn Josh into Cam 2.0 and waste his prime.

I just wish they would change the defensive scheme, it's been horseshit even when the defense was too 10. Total smoke and mirrors and good Qbs light them up. I know it's McDermott's defense, damn shame Allen is  being wasting all this time.

I want to know who is more to blame for the CONSTANT recurring issues this team has year to year that ultimately holds us back.

-Lack of pass rush

-Lack of outside WR talent

-Injury issues plaguing the Defense

Those two issues constantly hold us back and every year they’re not fixed.

So who is responsible for the asset allocation?  Is Beane drafting to his coaches who want to be a heavy run team with WR’s who can block and a Defense that has penetrating smaller players?

Or is it both of them?  This team has serious holes right now due to the Hairston injury, years of misses on the DL and absolute disinterest in truly addressing the WR room.

As currently constructed, this team has very serious flaws.  They’ve been visible since Week 1 and due to an easy schedule start, were masked until tonight.

McDermott doesn’t seem like he can get us across the line but Beane also has very serious blind spots/weaknesses that continue to hurt this team … but is he drafting to what McDermott and his coaches want?

I’d trade a draft pick for Sean McVay. Might be a great exit plan after stafford retires

Need McVay to bring his own GM too but yea I would trade picks for him.

Its not even close. We got the wrong Sean. Sean McVay and Josh Allen and we would have multiple Super Bowls right now.

That’s the only correct answer.

You could make a case for elevating Brady. It would give the offense continuity for the rest of Josh's career instead of cycling through coordinators every 2-3 years. That continuity is such a huge advantage for KC. This would come with the caveat that Brady hires a D coordinator and gives him full control over the D.

Edit: I'm fully aware McD isn't going anywhere.

I dont think it's realistic.   A team presumably on the cusp you want to hire the best to get you over the finish line.  Options are incredibly limited right now in season.  I'd want an offensive specialist then hire a badasss def coordinator.

Belichick would have been great hire a couple years ago but he’s damaged goods now.

Jim Harbaugh would have been a great hire after he left Michigan.

At this point I’d take anyone just because the team isn’t going anywhere with McD in charge.

Would you ever consider Flores for hc?  I would.   Out of defensive coaches he'd be my only consideration.
