After many many threads in the last few years about McD, it’s very clear that the 90% of us wish a change.

I wish a change too and my first reason is beyond schemes or poor game decisions made, or games approach… those are obviously very valid points, many times McD failed in all of them, most of the times in crucial game moments…  but to me another big one is because that veteran players need a new voice, new challenges… to be looking for new motivation.

The new coach should have a strong personality, should be tough and assertive… someone like McVay, Gruden, Siriani.

Unfortunately i know that this won’t happen anytime soon…. i’m just disappointed and angry at the same time because we are wasting our Josh Allen’s era.

Yep and then in 8 years we'll be in qb purgatory again.

Maybe less…. that’s why we need to look for another stout in around 2/3 years from now.

I agree they need a new voice.

Just watch hard knocks and you could see that.

However, in no universe does he get fired after the season imo, so it’s irrelevant to even talk about.

No way Pegula will fire him and Beane. Look at the Sabres.

This needs a poll

Why? It’s already been decided:

“it’s very clear that the 90% of us wish a change.”

All it took was one loss. This place is amazing. Some of our fans are as bad as those uniforms.

You don’t think McD has a strong personality?  That’s amusing.

Disagree on the uniforms. Those look good. Penn State should take notes from the Bills on how to do a white out. Fans wear white and the team wears white. Nothing says white out like a Penn State white out where the fans wear white and the teams runs onto the field in their home dark blue jerseys.

I’ll tell you one thing and I’m not afraid to say it, but I don’t think Brady is the answer at OC. Why are we clipping the wings of Josh Allen ? The Bills looked more afraid of Drake Maye last night than the other way around.

Maybe this should be on Beane more so than Brady. Take a good look at the Bills offense. Great QB and RB. Good OL but average to slightly above average WR's. At the skill positions on offense the only players opposing teams really worry about are Allen and Cook.

You have to know that's McDermott. What was his answer to our woes during the halftime interview last night? "Complimentary football".

He doesn't want a high-octane passing attack. He wants ball control. He wants his offense to play defense.

Frankly with this group of wide-outs he might not be entirely wrong. We saw multiple times last night that once this offense gets backed up due to penalty, negative play, etc. they don't have an easy way to get yards on command. It's all on Josh to make a special play in those situations.

. I do agree with you fundamentally. There was a 3rd down play late in the game where Josh was scrambling back there trying to find the open guy and none of the receivers made their way back to the ball like they are normally supposed to do on off-scripted plays. That’s on coaching.

One loss? We have been calling for McDermott’s head for years

lol it’s not Brady.

Brady’s boss requires an offense designed to help the defense. They don’t want to score too fast.

Let’s trade babich and Keon Coleman for Jim Schwartz.  Then draft/sign an actual nfl caliber WR.  Then I’d be fine keeping McD.

It’s impossible for fans to know how much control McD has over the roster, but I place most of this on Beane.  The roster just isn’t that good outside of Allen, and we have no cap space, figure that one out!

and we miss on too many difference makers in the draft (Coleman over Cooper Dejean for example)

It's also on talent. Keon on the first of those plays tried to separate by faking going deep and coming back and the DB was all over it. Hence he then reverted to just run to the back of the endzone. He struggles so much to separate. He isn't sudden enough and he isn't nuanced enough.

Yeah, yeah, yeah….look at the stat line. Maye and Allen had the EXACT SAME stat line for virtually the exact same yardage 22-30 completions.  But…Josh’s 31st attempt was a pick in the red zone and Maye didn’t throw one. That one bad throw cost the Bills the game or everyone would be looking at the lone remaining team at 5-0 this morning.
