SoMAn Posted yesterday at 10:39 AM Posted yesterday at 10:39 AM Unlike Jim Kelly (stiff and playing to the camera), Josh is natural and unaffected in his delivery. Seems very genuine and likeable in his video spots. Perfect pitch man. I remember during his playing days, Tom Brady sacrificed some of his contract to keep the team within the cap and sign needed players for the Pats. Obviously, between his wife's bank and his own endorsements, Brady could have played for the minimum NFL wage and still been comfortable. I don't know how much players like Josh and Mahomes make from the numerous endorsements, but I've wondered if making millions (I presume) promoting products is a major bonus that allows them to forfeit some of their playing contract so their team can retain talent. Like Brady, Josh also has a wife with her own career wealth. She has an estimated net worth (according to one source) of $25 million. I don't get the sense that money is high on the list of motivating factors in Josh's life. When elite QBs get their big pay day after their rookie contracts are up, suddenly it creates all new challenges for the GM and bean counters trying to balance talent and the ledger together. I won't be surprise if Josh makes financial concessions to the Bills in the coming years that will ease the cap burden and help keep the team intact. Seems like a win-win scenario if that's the case. 3 2 Quote
EssexBill Posted yesterday at 10:49 AM Posted yesterday at 10:49 AM Sofi are getting a relationship with Josh early so he plays out his last couple of years over in LA, but after he's won us 3 rings I won't begrudge him that 😁 1 1 1 1 4 Quote

She probably gives him pointers, but it's not exactly Shakespeare he's performing. Even without any tutorials, I have a feeling his natural self is a fine asset in front of the camera. He's got natural charisma and likeability that is innate. 2 1 1 Quote

I'd assume the Bills have some affiliation with a bank like M&T (like the Sabres do), so they probably couldn't get the jersey for contractual reasons. 1 Quote

Hailee is probably coaching him up on the Stanislavski method. If only someone could coach the DL Stanislavski’s “method of physical action”. 1 Quote

We can dream I suppose. 1 Quote

chris heff Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM Posted yesterday at 02:27 PM I’m sick of the Patriots, they are not the Patriots of the Brady, Belichick era. I’m sick of hearing how they are coming after the Bills. I’m sick of hearing about Vrabel, as a coach he is barely over 500. I was sick of hearing how Jones was the next Brady, I’m sick of hearing that Maye is the next Josh Allen. I don’t just want the Bills to beat them! I want them to BEAT them! 1 Quote

Watching TNF last night, the thing I realized about Jones, for me, despite the fact that he was a Patriot***, my hatred is of the player. I was sooooooo irrationally annoyed while watching a game between two teams I really don't give a **** about last night and listening to the commentators slobber all over him. At one point Fitz, who I appreciate much more when he's not behind center for the Bills, said something nice about him and I was like "**** you Fitz, go **** yourself." My wife commented earlier in the game, prior to growing tired of my disposition and going to bed, that my mood was almost like when I'm watching a Bills game and they're losing. Oh, also, what does this have to do with Allen's new commercial? Edited yesterday at 02:39 PM by transient 1 Quote
