Commentators have been making all sorts of excuses for Mahomes this year. He just has been off on a lot of his ball placement this year.

Mahomes throws a wobbly duck behind his Running back and the commentators talk about how it was Smith's fault. Yes Smith should have caught it but even if he does he doesn't get the first there because it was a poor throw.

That's a ridiculous penalty call. What was unnecessary about that play? Flowers was trying to stay on his feet.
