Kenosha2Buffalo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Thought he played pretty well last night when given the opportunity. Seems to be at least a decent depth pickup, the hit on the dolphins running back was a thing of beauty. 3 2 Quote
Simon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I imagine somebody will pop in to tell us all about the one tackle he couldn't quite secure in the backfield, but I thought he was waaay better last night than any of us had any right to expect. He only played half the snaps that Dorian Williams did but had twice as much effect on the game. The fact that he made a bunch of plays that Dorian Williams simply does not make means that there is probably a voice in McDermott's head telling him to give him even more snaps. 2 8 1 Quote

His reading the play to shoot the outside shoulder of the blocker on that tackle in the backfield last night, was beautiful. 1 3 Quote

Displacing a blocker by fooling him with your eyes is some cagey veteran ***** that I want to see more of on the field. He cannot possibly be a bigger liability in coverage than Dorian Williams. Get that man some more snaps, coach. 1 Quote
juno999 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If he’s fully healthy, I believe he’ll see more playing time. He’s been dealing with a hamstring and hand injury. 2 Quote
WotAGuy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I thought his comments after the game were interesting, about wanting to earn his teammates’ respect. He mentioned it twice in his interview. “It’s been a long time since I got to hit another opponent,” Thompson said. “You could say Week 1, but I didn’t really play. It just felt good to get out there, getting my feet back wet. ... My whole thought process for today was to go out there and win, but (also) get the respect from my teammates.” “Hopefully I gained all the respect from my teammates, going out there hitting,” he said. “That was the biggest thing for me.” Edited 1 hour ago by WotAGuy 2 1 Quote
DJB Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He’s far more intelligent than Dorion and exceptionally better in pass coverage He deserves more snaps Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago I thought he was solid, maybe between him and Milano we can get good LB play between the two for the season but both have incredible trouble staying healthy 1 Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago How about lets not anoint him the second coming until he plays at least 1 or 2 more games. 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 9 minutes ago Posted 9 minutes ago Looked really good. They are intentionally playing more 4-3 defense. If/when Milano comes back, will be interesting to see snap distribution. Quote
