I had the same feeling after game, but after watching All-22 I'd say he was one of the best players on the field. He lost contain once, but other than that, he set the edge as usual. And as a pass rusher he was visible a lot, he had 3-4 big pressures, that either led to Tua throwing it away, or Tua made a big play last second play to Waddle/Hill. 2 Quote

All 22 and more detailed analysis could prove me wrong. 1 Quote
UKBillFan Posted September 19 Posted September 19 (edited) Up Hawes - an amazing upgrade on the third TE position as a blocker and catcher Kincaid - he's showing signs of becoming what we hoped him to be Walker - what a steal in the fifth; he's looking like he belongs  Down Codrington - need more impact and lucky not to fumble the ball back to the Fins Davis - really hasn't grown on last year's reasonable performance. Is he injured? White - That third down... Edited September 19 by UKBillFan Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Incredibly disappointed in Rousseau (not worthy of a nickname), AJE and ST. Tre has to play 5-7 yards off because he's old as Methuselah. Love what Joey brings but this pass rush is still ass.  1 Quote
JohnNord Posted September 19 Posted September 19 3 hours ago, No_Matter_What said: Disagree on pass rush. I just finished defensive All-22. They didn't suck. They created a lot of pressure, but Tua either threw it too quickly to matter or he scrambled and Hill/Waddle made plays.  Strongly disagree on Sanders. He was good to very good. He made some pressures, and he was double teamed almost every snap. Granted, he is not Ed Oliver, but he played well for a rookie. It just wasn't that easy to see live.  Agree on Tre. That missed sack on 3&12 was brutal and changed the flow of the game. Should've been third punt in a row for the Dolphins and chance for double dip for the Bills, and instead of that Dolphins had a lengthy drive and tied the game.  Other notes - to me Daquan Jones was really good and created lot of pressure. Groot was MUCH better than people give him credit for. He set the edge as always and created at least 3 big pressures, and it's not his fault that Tua/Waddle/Hills made plays. Even AJE had some plays, whole dline just didn't finish. As for others, everyone seemed to have good moments and bad ones. For example Thompson was mostly good and gets a lot of praise here, but he badly missed a tackle for loss which lead to 16y Gordon run (on Dolphins 2nd half TD drive).  Had White finished his sack, it'd become a blowout. TJ Sanders is the lowest defensive tackle at his position.  I don’t think he played a very good game.  Also, Tua’s time in the pocket before a throw was 2.74 seconds.  His most since last season.  Quote

I don’t think he’ll ever be a true #1 because he can’t separate. He’s more Higgins or a modern day Plaxico and that’s fine but I do like the fight in him this year. Never gives up on a play, always trying to get to the ball for Josh. Not sure he’ll ever be great but I’m happy with what he is. Palmer on the other hand has been the overrated underwhelming guy he’s always been thus far. Big contracts for free agent WRs (Samuel and Palmer) is Beanes Achilles. Maybe start drafting more cheap guys instead 🤔 Quote
MJS Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Up: Kincaid, Walker, Moore Down: White, Rousseau, Palmer  Palmer, coming off a nice game, was held to 1 catch for 5 yards. White got burned a couple of times. Rousseau hasn't made any impact plays.  Kincaid continued his strong season, looking like a real threat and mismatch. Walker continues to look disruptive and just seems to always make an impact. Moore was our only consistent receiving threat. He has been awesome. Quote
