I know it's a little weird that we are being so effusive about a 5th round blocking TE but it's not just about how well Hawes is adapting (he's doing great) it's that he's effectively letting us run our Jumbo/6OL sets while not needing to declare eligibility and actually be a passing threat

Not only might he replace Anderson for the Jumbo set, but also really interesting is perhaps Gilliam in those FB sets.  Making Gilliam expendable would open up a spot when Hoecht or Max come back

Gilliam is a core ST player part of the reason the team carries him

Yeah the roster spot crunch is looking real interesting.

I'm not dismissing the idea they give up a pick to trade Curtis Samuel just to clear cap for next year and get the spot just so they don't have to cut anyone they see long term

I would love that until 2 receivers go down in December

I don't think ANYONE saw the Bills 3TE sets becoming a foundation of the team and seemingly unstoppable force

Kincaid's ferocity while blocking has been especially upgraded.     Hawes is a stud for a rookie wow what a late round pick.

I do wish Knox would be able to contribute more in the passing game

Hawes really is a stud. Would love to see him get involved a bit more in the passing game to really see what he has there too. Love everything I’ve seen from him so far.

It feels like they try to get Knox involved, but those dropsies are hurting him.

The three headed monster is something we have wished for though. When Brady came up I did think we would see more of it. But Kincaid's injury might have put a damper on that.

This year the play book has more pages to flip through !

I know I didn't. I was actually thinking more 3 WR...and that's the thing, I think they still could. They can go heavy or spread

bro is out there DESTROYING dudes.

Love him! If he and Walker turn into the studs they’re already looking like then Beane killed it

Even better is if Hancock turns into a solid safety to replace the reckless Rapp

Hawes is going to pull a Benford & supplant our 1st round toothpick WR posing as a TE 🙃

Yes, I'm quoting myself.

People do realize the upside down face implies I'm joking, right?

You know, like we all rag on Keon for being slow? Just want to make it clear I don't really care how skinny Kincaid is 👍

Pats won a superbowl with a 2 TE base set

In our jumbo sets Sunday night, Anderson came in and replaced Kincaid.

You seemed so serious, I wondered " why so serious BigD "

:)

and now you are talking to yourself ....

😋

Bills truly have a ton of threats and targets for Josh. It's a joy to behold. Any complaints I take with a grain of salt . if you will.

I loved the Ravens when they ran 3 TE bunch sets. They were nearly unstoppable with Lamar's feet to compliment.

Gronkowski and the other guy were beasts in that Offense with pats

I know... I've hit a knew low quoting myself!

What's next, becoming a Jets fan? I'm concerned rock bottom might be right around the corner 😭

But yeah, I don't genuinely care how skinny Kincaid is. If he plays well, he can look like the 28 Years Later zombie & I'll be cool with it.

Gilliam leads the team every year in ST snaps.  Basically the captain of our coverage teams.  Not sure you are going to see a rookie dinged up CB take that workload.

is this an “imagine how much worse our coverage would be without him” type deal?
