Its so funny, I have many friends that I have known for over 30 years that even though they have heard my story over and over, still think I'm from Buffalo.

I've probably worn something Bills related 8 out of every 10 days my whole life.

I'm born and raised in California and have been a Bills fan since Jim Kelly joined the team. Zero ties to Buffalo or New York.

The first time I went to Buffalo was in 2018 for the home opener against the Chargers. It was Josh Allen's first start and Vontae Davis retired at halftime. I had a blast at the Pinto Tailgate, and had a great time in general. I've made so many friends from going to many road games for the Bills, so I knew what to look for when I visited for the first time.

I'll be at the Dolphins game too! Hope I see you there, somewhere. I'll be sitting in the upper bowl, but it'll be a great time.

Have a great time, my friend. You won't forget it. I love your screen name. GO BILLS!!!

My wife is still getting over the food last week. I’ve been shopping for vegetables and fruit since we got home!  🤣

If it's colon cleansing she needs, might I recommend the $5 meal from Taco Bell.  #IveGotTheHotSnakes

you could have been there a lot sooner if you hadn't bought all that stuff!!!   LOL

Funny enough, I have bought very little of my massive collection. its mostly 50 years of B-day and X-mas gifts! and a ton of little trinkets gathered along the way.

I do have a almost complete Bills card collection from 1960-2000 that I probably spent a bit on. lol

I'm similar to you. I have lived in the west most of my life. I'm not from Buffalo and I've only been there once. I came for a game during the drought years. I inherited my fandom from my Dad, who is from Buffalo.

I'm sure I will get emotional walking in.  Dreamt of it since I was a little kid.

Trust me, You will...as a lifelong LA Bills fan, my first game was Jan 9th, 2022. We were playing the Jets for the AFCE title. Haack struggled all day punting but Josh did his magic. Got to watch JA17 circle the entire stadium high fiving fans in celebration.  Soak it all in. See the falls and get to Bar Bill for wings and beef on weck.

Shreveport! Nice. I lived in the south a few years in the late 80s and played guitar in a Metal band. We used to play a club there called "the Million Dollar Sandpiper"

half rock club, half strip club.  Awesome times!  ever go there?

I believe thats the same group that I watched with in Burbank. they moved to Santa Monica after that placed closed. That also was about the same time Sunday Ticket became available so I have just had that and watched at home since about '97

If your travel permits, my suggestion is to go to Gabriel’s Gate but get there when it opens so you & your son can get a seat at the bar. Great wings and other local specialties. A unique place as well.

Sorry it’s taken you this long!

Thankfully the Ralph closing has given a lot of fans the extra incentive to come watch a game.

For the season opener there was a few people who were attending their first ever Bills games, in part because it was the last season here.

I miss throwing the ball in the parking lot at halftime.  Those were good days in Burbank.

I was there for almost every game from ‘92-‘97.  Awesome times!

This post hits home!

Never been anywhere near Buffalo/WNY but had to make a pilgrimage before they close the barn.

As an 8 year old watching the 1990 Superbowl, I had to pick a team to cheer for. Apparently I'm a glutton for punishment because I stuck with them ever since. The only kid in school with a Bills hat when everyone else was wearing Niners or Cowboys or Lolphins.

Taking my dad to celebrate his 75th birthday and bringing my 8 year old son. I've been bookmarking posts for a few months on where to eat and what to do. Looking forward to making some memories!

So was I...John Mammoser and the gang made it fun...like you said many navigated to Busbys in Santa Monica after the closure of Bobby McGees in 99.  It was closed by the county health dept due to a rat investigation.  I guess we tolerated too many Raider, Jets and Miami fans.

OMG, for years now, when ever people ask why I chose to be a Bills fan I say “because I’m a lifelong glutton for punishment”. Thats funny stuff!
