Thats the difference between a great QB and a good one.

Take the lowest degree of difficulty play with the highest chance of success when you absolutely have to have it.

Dak was not good in this game imo.  Not good enough.

Pickens did nothing.  But you telling me he wasn’t getting open?

I thought Dak was great all game. That last throw was the right read, just missed it

Watching that game last night made me appreciate Matt Milano even more. How many times did Hurts burn the Cowboys with his legs for a TD or a first down?

That final 3rd down Philly converted was brutal. They had to know Hurts would look to convert with his legs, and the middle of Dallas' DL just parted the Red Sea for him. That is a failure of coaching in a critical moment.

I’m always excited for the start of the NFL season, but each year end up caring mostly about Bills games. The lack of defense in today’s games make it boring and dull to me. There wasn’t an ounce of defense in that first half last night.

Eagles won't do anything like last year.

Just a nice home win

Jalen Hurts is not a good QB, he had more rushes than Saquan and tons of dumps to TE or RB because he cant read a defense and I dont think Dallas is anything great, he is the beneficiary of a good team around him.

I kept a close eye on Elam. Other than the long pass in the 2nd Q, he was actually glued to his man. I was surprised to see him start and play OK.

Bills are probably wishing they had Elam back with they way their secondary is looking for week 1.

Dallas definitely seems to be a better fit for him.   They were mostly in man coverage last night.

I thought they would pick on him (Elam), especially after the long pass completion that setup the TD. But they didn't. I watched him like a hawk. The dude was all over his assignment! He shut down his side of the field. Unreal! Made some good tackles too.

Thought Dallas played better overall but the fumble and Ceedee pulling a Playoff Diggs multiple times derailed them.

They also need to seriously figure out how to spy mobile QB’s on 3rd down.

Dak outplayed Hurts, but Hurts with his super team just made more plays when it mattered.. very Chiefs-like.

Yeah Mahomes never does that to us in the playoffs.   Sarcasm.

Hurts is a good QB. You don't go to two SBs by sucking. Yeah, the Eagles have a fantastic roster, but Hurts fits that offense well and makes a ton of plays.

I don't think he is an elite passer by any means, but he's an elite all-around talent.

They win the game if Lamb catches any of those 3 passes that hit him straight in the hands.

It's pretty hard to contain the QB when you're tied up at the line & your coverage is good downfield. We've seen other teams fail to do it with Josh many times over, even though they know it's coming. I agree that they could've done better, but like Allen & Lamar, he's a good scrambler.

The Cowboys D held the defending SB champs to just 3 points in the 2nd half, which should earn them some props for anchoring down. I can only imagine how much worse it might've been if Hurts was as good of a passer as Lamar though.

Its extremely difficult to contain athletic QBs, but its almost impossible if your DEs take inside rush lanes on 3rd down or in the red zone, even with a spy. If DEs take inside rush lanes on josh or Lamar in the red zone, josh and Lamar walk in 10 out of 10 times. Why the cowboys did it with hurts the entire game blows my mind.

I wouldn't even say he missed the last throw; it's just a really tough throw to make and he put in a place where Lamb could make the (difficult) catch and it didn't work out. Dak had a very good game.

I think there's a reasonable argument that Dak was the best player on the field last night.

Dak gets a lot of flack in the media, but he is a good QB. He shouldn’t be the highest paid in the league, but he’s a top QB year in and year out
