I loved seeing a number 80 playing for the Buffalo Bills on offense but alas not by Shavers this year.

Not seen this posted elsewhere. Still eager to see what he can do when given the opportunity.

Darn. He looked so good in 80.

Thanks for the warning - It always takes me a few games to get used to players that switch up their numbers. Hopefully he plays just as well in number 14!

In the preseason, I was shocked at the backslide that was happening to Terrell Bernard. Out of position, couldn't tackle, playing with the 3rd string, etc. Then I realized that #43 is now rookie Dorian Strong.

He was a guy with a lot of potential that needed time to grow

Time most teams don't have to put into a undrafted fa.. but he's been a core special teamer which has given him time on the roster

He was recruited by Alabama.. he has some receiving talent even though he doesn't have the repetition...

he at least has great effort which is something that you cannot coach

Sometimes unheralded recievers come out of nowhere and become stars. Shavers has a chance and maybe this game is the coming out party for him.

he had very little production in college BUT he’s huge (6’4”), runs a 4.4 and is a very good blocker. Isn’t this everything we are looking for in a wr? He plays a lot of plays too

td catch wasn’t an easy catch and I noticed he was open for a wide open td on that first down pass to Knox where he was tackled. I think he also had a key block on tai’s td

Davis and Shavers are the exact type of receivers you want rounding out your WR room at #4 and #5 after your star #1, dependable #2, and a solid shifty slot. Our problem is we’re missing the 1 and 2.

Dude if you have a great number one dependable two and three option you definitely don't have a 350 million quarterback or a good offensive line

The Bengles have all the weapons but Joe burrow can't survive

that's why you need to hit in the draft

Those three guys would command a good chunk of salary cap

Yeah waddle would have been a really nice #1 , under control for next year too. But instead of trading say #31 for a proven #1 (or at least a top tier #2) Beane refuses to trade it. So he can draft another Elam/coleman

Nope - this absolutely was possible

#1 waddle

#2 shakir

#3 palmer

#4 davis

#5 shavers

mix in a top 10 TE (when healthy) and a top 5 RB and this is a great offense

Yeah but it takes two to tango and the dolphins aren't trading us waddle to their 60-year rival

Wait, how do we know Beane was unwilling to send Miami a 1st for Waddle? I thought they had offered the best package and Miami didn’t want to help Buffalo out.
