I'd bet that he'd get sacked a lot less than Trubisky or White given the exact same circumstances... he processes 3 times as quickly so his playing speed is faster than their's, even if his legs aren't.

He’s started exactly zero nfl games. The other two bad or not have  won NFL games. His 40 time at 4.95 is irrelevant.. half the qbs in the nfl run about that or close. Thought he played well vs TB but it would be quite a risk and I don’t see the Bills doing that.

I wonder if Jalen Virgil is worth PS at this point? It has to be difficult being in a front office trying to figure out who is worth the spot as a security blanket veteran in your system vs a young gun with something to prove.

Virgil was among the 1st cuts a week or two ago.  I think the Bills did him a solid, but maybe Bills practice squad is where Virgil wants, biding his time, trying to make roster

It also probably depends on how serious the injury is.

Lewis Cine a Safety that the Eagles poached off our PS last season has been released. He was a 1st round choice of the Vikings in 2022 out of Georgia.
