The TOs were big but he came back and had them within a drop of tying the game. Had the Ravens as a whole played a semi clean game it would have been the same result as the 1st game. You guys didn't have an answer for him for 8 qtrs. The wr ran tuebqrong route on the int and tue center had a bad snap on the fumble. Those are the only 2 plays in 8 qtrs that the Bills even slowed Lamar. There’s something comical about “it’s just two turnovers” when that’s like the 2 biggest plays of the game? No one good should be afraid of Lamar in the postseason. He’s no higher than the 3rd best postseason QB in his own conference. 2 Quote

We need to look at the big picture of winning the SB. Anyways, the cornerback position is a lot more tenuous and with heavy question marks including Benford who appears to have something (bad) going for him To an extent, sure. But he can't keep making the major mental mistakes in coverage he has been making that have given up backbreaking plays at a rate of basically one every two starts. I think he gets the first 4 or 5 games whatever the weather. But if he is not playing well and showing demonstrable improvement after that all bets are off. Otherwise it could quickly get to the point where the teammates around him are thinking "this guy is killing us" and if it gets to that point he is done. 4 Quote
GunnerBill Posted September 2 Posted September 2 When do we get the first official injury report? Is it today? Quote
CNYfan Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Typically on Wednesday for teams with games on Sunday. Usually late in the business day, EST 1 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) I wonder if private lot parking rates will jump another $10, like they have every year since they started stadium construction. It cost $40 to park ¾ of a mile away last year. Same lot used to be $15. Edited September 2 by PromoTheRobot 1 Quote

No one good should be afraid of Lamar in the postseason. He’s no higher than the 3rd best postseason QB in his own conference. He’s also making this point that we couldn’t stop Lamar aside from the turnovers, like that should validate Lamar… We know. Our defense could barely stop anybody unless they forced turnovers (rookie QB’s & bad QB’s aside). So the fact Lamar came in and faced the worst Defense we’ve ever had under McDermott, and still couldn’t get it done, in part because of his own mistakes, says everything we need to know about him in the postseason. Sure, it wasn’t all his fault. And he played a great second half. But the point is.. you don’t look at Allen or Mahomes in the postseason and say they were part of the reason they lost. Usually they play great or well/clean enough. Lamar is always (part) of the reason the Ravens lose in the playoffs. As for Burrow (the other of the Big 4).. well, he hasn’t been there enough, and when he was.. don’t get me started on how his defense and FG kicker carried him to the Super Bowl. Must be nice… Quote

His career TD/TO ratio in the postseason is less than 2. Edited September 2 by RoscoeParrish 1 2 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Joe buscaglia’s article this morning has me very nervous about benford playing now too. this game is going to be extremely hard to win with this secondary as is, if benford is out too, good grief. Quote

Ingram & Strong, just like we all envisioned after extending Benford, bringing in Tre and drafting a RD1 Corner. This team is obsessed with cluster injuries. Like it’s a communicable disease passed within the position rooms. Quote

This will be a disaster if those two are the day 1 starting CBs. I think Benford plays and they are just being overly cautious with whatever he has going on. Quote

McD schemes up Lamar pretty well (though he can kill us too potentially), but it’s stopping Henry that really concerns me. I'd rather play him in the january cold than mild conditions. Have a feeling he's going to have his ears pinned back ready to go Quote

Josh had 2 ints against the mighty Skylar Thompson led Dolphins that nearly cost you guys the game. Then he had 2 more TOs when they needed to beat the Dolphins to get in the playoffs and the defense bailed him out. Lamar has 13 TD and 11 turnovers in the playoffs Josh has 32 TD's and 6 turnovers in the playoffs I actually think you guys will win on Sunday, but you aren't exactly repping your fan base very well. Jackson’s playoff turnovers haven’t been of the standard variety, the majority have been really bad plays. The Ravens have a good defense and run game. They could have won some of those games based on excelling in those areas. Instead you have Jackson throwing picks into no man’s land, and awful fumbles. 1 Quote

Our D is soft in general, but looks stuck in molasses when playing dynamic guys like Jackson and Henry. I'm sure we can draft our way out of it though! 1 Quote

This is getting ridiculous. If true - time to trade for a CB. Quote

I think this will be a good test on our young Dlineman if they can hold their contain and not over pursue Lamar and leaving running lanes open etc. I suspect Milano or Bernard might also be a spy on him.
