I think it's absurd that public money was used on the stadium.

The state will make it back and then more.

You can bet Jerry doesn't charter his yacht to peasants. Bad form Terry. If Terry wanted to solve this small pr crisis he could take kids from Roswell on some trips and he'd be a hero

These are billionaires. And we have to look at the long view here. Conflating a single yacht purchase - or any for that matter - with NYS tax payer monies in a vacuum isn't apples to apples. Questionable look? Sure, but the state approved this.

I disagree.  It's a terrible look.  I support the stadium monies--as a community, we had to do it.  But this looks awful, and tone deaf.

While I can agree to a certain extent, funding a stadium is currently so low on the list of waste, that its laughable. It's actually one of the few things you can point to and see (more) efficient use of government spending.

Also, the amount of people that believe that the Pegulas contributed nothing is frustrating.

This wasn't Bills Embedded doing an MTV Cribs-style (dating myself) walkthrough of it. It was a random posting on social media. Terry wasn't out there saying, "hey, look at my toy."

This is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that public money will be used to support private enterprise. The hope is that the money was well spent for the greater good of the community. Let's hope the new stadium generates additional private development, creating growth for the region. That being said, I believe the public investment in a new stadium for Western New York makes sense. However, I think what would have made a better use of public money would have been to increase the investment and build the stadium in Buffalo with a dome.

Personally, IDGAF. Thank you for saving  the Bills & Sabres.

Saving the Sabres? Have you watched them play these past 15 years or so.
