Not sure where to put it.

  • Shakir might be back for practice next week, maybe end of this week
  • Bass is set to kick on Bucs preseason game this Saturday
  • Alec Anderson, Samuel, Shaq Thompson, and Bass will be back for limited practice today
  • McGovern and Cam Lewis will be limited today too
  • Hancock might not play this Saturday

I wonder if healthy, Hancock could play his way over Bishop in this last preseason game?

Wouldn’t that be a blessing if that safety spot became less of a concern!  I’m certainly not giving up on Bishop, but he needs to be available and look ready to play mistake-free football before I can relax with him back there. Most guys are listed as CB or safety, but Hancock is a DB on the Bills roster.

Should have IR’d SVPG. He’s missed months, all of minicamps and training camp with that calf.

Serious question…..What would have been gained there? I suspect they know what they’re doing and they have better info than we have regarding the injury and their plans for him. This may be part of keeping him hidden and on the Bills for one more year and see what he can offer then….but what do I know?  🤷‍♂️

I'm thinking the team thought he'd be healthy prior to end of camp, toss in his injury happened precamp which made him only PUP eligible, If we put him on IR now it's either for the season or designated to return but you can only make 2 such distinctions I believe for the entire season and I wouldn't waste that on a 2nd string player tbh.

The rule was changed to allow 8 players in regular reason and 10 players totally if the team makes playoff.

I could be mistaken, but I think the initial 53 can only have up to 2 IR designated to return players

Why would they do that rather than PUP?  There are only 2 IR designated to return that you can use prior to 53 man cut down.  PUP seems like the right move no?

Dude... you could have played you way over Bishop AND Hamlin in the last game...  I would not besmirch the word atrocious by using it in this instance.

Injuries are killing us and we can't even get out of camp. AND we still need a Safety and WR.  The Baltimore game isn't looking good.

Baltimore is going to be a tough one for sure.  Even if we lose though,  the worst I see the Bills starting out is 5-2.

His legs are way to skinny.

Too skinny for what?  To be an nfl cornerback?
