McD's teams, though tend to be outmuscled by tougher teams. Last night (I know it was preseason!) was just another example of a lack of toughness and heart. I continue to wait for a "smack in the mouth" performance and wonder. Again... preseason... second and third string... but the killer attitude (especially for players trying to make the roster) really seems to be lacking. I am not overreacting to a meaningless preseason game but have always questioned if our leadership can get the most out of the players. The timing of this thread would argue otherwise. Just sayin... 4 Quote

If you think McD’s defense are formidable based on their performances against Miami….😆😆😆 Sklyer Thompson did score 31 against us, so there is that. Quote
Bruffalo Posted August 18 Posted August 18 They're usually tougher than 11-14 of the teams they play every regular season, I don't see how this season would be any different. What a silly question. 3 1 Quote

Def: Jets Dolphins Saints Falcons Panthers Dolphins Browns Jets Probably: Bucs Steelers I’m predicting more than 10 wins, but the Pats now being led by Vrable will be tough games. Games against Bmore, KC, Cinci & Eagles are going to be our toughest games, thankfully they are all at home. 2 Quote

You're referencing the Skylar Thompson playoff game? You're clearly out of your depth. Quote

Nuncha Posted August 18 Posted August 18 (edited) Dumbest thing I ever heard McD say was he "expects" his 4 stringers to compete against their first string. Seriously dude? Did he really think that O-line he fielded was going to dominate the LOS? LOL! Edited August 18 by Nuncha Quote
Maynard Posted August 18 Posted August 18 (edited) Everyone is getting their buttholes reamed right now. Let’s see how they respond. McD looked pissed and Beane looked incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassed when he was called up to interview in the booth last night. Edited August 18 by Maynard 2 Quote

Including two by Lamar Jackson who only had 9 the entire regular season! Yeah i mean AFCC game they gave up 32 points, but the memories of the ravens game can keep us all warm at night 1 Quote

As previously mentioned the Ravens will be a great test. What do you even mean? What does a tough team look like to you? Quote

I’m not freaking out but I’m sick and tired of this soft defense. Use to this *****! Who else can we complain to besides the people on this board. McD and Beane are off chasing one or two plays year after year instead of trying something different on D. 3 1 Quote

If you think it's because the team isn't "tough enough" then I don't know what to tell you. I think toughness that has very little to do with it. Edited August 18 by Bruffalo 1 Quote
