GASabresIUFan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Every year there seems to be a little known player or 2 (usually a UDFA or a camp invitee) who the make the team or have a great camp and make their way on to the PS. Last year it was Buffalo Joe and Shavers. Admittedly, I haven’t focused on the camp news, but it seems two WRs have impressed (Wilkerson & Gosnell). Anyone else? SoMAn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) C Jacob Bayer (61) and OT Chase Lundt (77) are two candidates for that designation. Will be watching them tomorrow. Kristian Wilkerson (82), possible practice squad/developmental player addition Edited 2 hours ago by SoMAn 1 Quote
Rubes Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yeah, I'd consider both Bayer and Gosnell. Long shots, but with the injuries they both have a shot at the PS. Quote
skibum Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Did Wande Owens show anything in training camp? I can't say I've seen his name mentioned anywhere since camp started. He would have gotten my pre-camp vote, and I guess I'll let it ride because I don't know much about how any other UDFA/invitees performed. Edited 2 hours ago by skibum Quote
LEBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I read somewhere that Keonte Jenkins was running ahead of Ulofoshio with the LBs. With Spector out I would say him assuming Shaq Thompson is too name brand for this exercise. Edited 1 hour ago by LEBills 1 Quote

No, not necessarily. Late round picks would qualify especially since the Bills are a perennial contender can limit opportunities for late picks and UDFAs. Certainly Grable was a bit of a surprise last year. Hawes is kind of borderline for me. I watched him often at GA Tech and am not surprised at all that he is making an impression. He was fantastic against UGA last year. For those who aren't into college ball, I can very much see him as a surprise. When I wrote the OP, I was thinking UDFAs, cheap vets and camp invitees, but thinking about it further late rounds picks work as well. Quote
Ben Posted 21 minutes ago Posted 21 minutes ago Its cool that this is a lot harder than it used to be. Deep team with few jobs up for grabs. Its fun to find a Fred jackson every once in a while Quote
