I hope they bring back McGovern, I think they let Edwards walk but McGovern would be too valuable to let walk. 1 Quote

I guess I disagree I don’t have him as a top 10 RB . I won’t deny he’s not talented but I also think he greatly benefits from playing behind our oline and beside Josh. Edited August 4 by DJB 1 Quote

What would you expect his body language to look like??? His agent is an idiot and put him in a bad spot. Some said it was his brother. Just a shame for James to have put himself and Beane in this spot with his first public comments and removing his Bills account. Quote

Yeah- for the dynamics of THIS team. Having a back with the extra gear that can take it to the house on any play puts more strain on the defense and can help open things up for everyone else. yes, we can draft a guy with a day 1 pick next year. I’d rather draft a premium position. Maybe spend another day 2 pick on a RB Maybe they don’t out to be nearly as good. Maybe they do. There’s no maybe with James Cook. He’s a home run hitter and I hope we find a way to keep him for the 25, 27 and 27 seasons. Jmo 2 Quote

But not so much a between the hashes or short yardage player in the late second 3rd . We don't need a complete back . Ty and Davis balance the RB out nicely But if Cook's agent can find some middle ground with Beane , I would be delighted to keep him ! 1 Quote

He’s tremendous getting to the edge and almost just as effective running up the middle. His vision is too notch and his ability to break tackles continues to improve each year. Sure, I’d love for him to be a better blocker and I expect him to be better in that regard this year. He wants to be on the field for 3rd downs and being a liability as blocker will keep him from reaching that goal. He’s gotten stronger every year and looks to have done the same this year. for a team lacking in elite offensive weapons, he’s the closest thing we have imo. 15M is too much (based on other RBs in the league) and I don’t blame Beane for not giving him that (yet at least), but I’d like to find a way to keep him for 3 more years. He’s integral to winning a Super Bowl this season 1 Quote

I should have used the word scrub, as Shavers is not a loser, just a bad football player who no other team seems to want. In the future, I will be more positive, as that is all that seems to be allowed here. Did you want to congratulate the "scrub" on becoming WR #6...? 🤡 Quote
