SCBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Shakir with a high ankle sprain mildly puts Week 1 in jeopardy. Should be good to go by then, but off chance he could miss it. 1 1 Quote
MWK Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Season is basically over for Hairston with this injury and the missed practice time. McDermott won’t play him or trust him. Shakir should hopefully be fine. Don’t need to see losers like Shavers on the field. 6 1 3 Quote
Steptide Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Lots of guys not practicing. Shakir being week to week sucks, but assuming he'll be fine for the regular season. Quote

If it's me, I'm not rushing it, though. Of course we want to win Week 1, but there is no stranger week in the NFL than Week 1. Anything can happen and anyone can beat anyone because of how unpredictable it is. I have said several time that no matter what the outcome is Week 1, it isn't going to sway my opinion of the season one way or another. Whether we win by 30 or lose by 30, even that won't change thing. It's just an odd week with so much volatility and unpredictability. So yeah, get him healthy and back to 100%. Even if he misses a couple weeks to start the season off, it's not worth rushing him back. Rather his absence affect a couple weeks of the season instead of the entire thing. While not ideal, obviously, I'm glad it happened now and not 3 weeks from now. 1 2 Quote

Shavers was an undrafted free agent who's entering his 3rd NFL season. He's made $850,000 in his career. What is your definition of loser? 4 2 2 4 Quote

SCBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) It’s a bit comical that Samuel is constantly hurt already. When on the field, healthy, he actually looked good late last year, but this staff hanging onto that hope is starting to look like wishful thinking. Edited 2 hours ago by SCBills 1 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Man the preseason is going to be a crap show on offense. its going to be 12 quarters of Mike White throwing to White Steve. 5 Quote
