Some of you are going too far with this.  I am somewhat biased being a Clemson alum but Wilkins is not by any means a "bad apple" type. This is a guy that got his degree in 2.5 years with a near 4.0 (and then went on to get a masters), never in trouble, leader in the community, loved by his teammates etc. He is simply an absolute goofball. He is a character for sure, huge ham, always dancing, singing and doing splits and stuff, was big into drama in high school. But the dude can ball, has crazy work ethic, and is well respected on and off the field.  I'm sure his personality rubs some people the wrong way and he is a weirdo with his after the play antics not trying to defend him there, but he is far far from any type of bad apple or locker room cancer type thing. Just wanted to correct that for those that are unfamiliar with him and getting the wrong idea here.  Bottom line, if he is even remotely healthy he would be a tremendous upgrade over Jones.

I mean the Raiders had a reason for waiving him and voiding his money....we don't know what that is.   He is a great player....if he did not take his work serious on the foot injury it could be an indication regarding his commitment after he got the bag.  It happens....football is hard on the body.  The details are not yet public so it is hard to really judge.

I will admit, this does not seem as bad as I expected.

I get it, it's still technically harassment, but it's better than his usual shoving his thumb into a dude's taint.

I read that he also was tickling a players feet like non stop.

No matter what , the gms around the league know the details and the longer he doesn’t get signed , the stranger the incident was. Very talented on the field

I don't believe for a second that this encompasses the entirety of the story.

The question is where his hands were when he was attempting that kiss. As is well documented, he is quite "handsy" and based on history, it has to be more than said kiss. I seriously doubt that a player would complain about a simple gesture like that and that a team would take the extreme action of cutting him based on that.

I think one of the McAfee guys pointed out, if a player went to HR/Mgmt over this then it likely indicates the locker room was already done/over with Wilkins.

Couldve just been the last straw, or the opportunity everyone was looking for.

Browns QB situation is actually worse than it was before. Pickett is out with an injured hamstring.  Sanders was 4th string and on some reps wasn't even throwing to other players. He was throwing to coaches as the WRs had already finished their reps

Today he got no first string reps but apparently went 9/9 with 2TDs with sevond team

Albert Breer had a blurb from Browns camp this morning in which he notes that Sanders was WAY behind in football knowledge, a fact that came out in the pre-draft process. He thinks that this, more than anything else, caused his slide. He's having to learn how to play the position from the ground up. It is a more than subtle dig at daddy's coaching. You can read that here, but you have to scroll down a bit: https://www.si.com/nfl/nfl-takeaways-inside-ben-johnson-plan-for-bears-caleb-williams-training-camp

Yeah I,agree. His dad needed to find better QB coach several years ago. Perhaps that is a good sign that he can still get better.

That's going to be a lot of learning.

So I'm just assuming, Colorado had a very basic offense with just a lot of talent to throw to?

A lot of guys come out of college programs not ready at all for the NFL.

Caleb Williams had never called a play in a huddle before joining the Bears, and that ***** is difficult!

I can believe the lack of Xs and Os affected his draft position. Way more than I believe people in 2025's NFL had some vendetta against Deion.

The guy actively and repeatedly grabs people's junk in an unwanted manner. I'm not sure I understand how his GPA comes into it.

Depends if he's willing to listen or if Dad will keep interfering.

I think you're really reaching here.

Just because he's smart doesn't mean he isn't a sociopath.

He's probably never been in trouble because he's mostly too smart to get caught.

And if he was loved by his teammates, he wouldn't have just been reported and released.

I think this dude has skeevy creeper written all over him.

And when he is caught doing skeevy creeper things...well superstar football players tend not to face the same scrutiny (especially on a football campus) as someone who is a normal student.

That's what leads some of these guys into their odd behaviors when they are in the NFL and no one is sweeping up their messes before they get heard about.
