It was wild then to later see most of the College Superstars from that Draft end up wearing a Bills jersey at different points in time, even if incredibly briefly in some instances, in Mario Williams, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, and Matt Leinart. And we ended up with Donte Edited 14 hours ago by Bills!Win! Quote

When Huff went 7, I was like "alright, it's gonna be Ngata then". When the pick came in as Donte Whitner, my jaw about hit the floor. I couldn't believe it. I liked the pick of John McCargo at the time of the Trade Up. Same for Ashton Youboty in Round 3 and Ko Simpson in Round 4. Little did I know the real victory would be in Round 5 in the form of Kyle Williams. 1 Quote

Trey Lance definitely comes to mind. Not only a top 3 pick, but the 49ers had to give up a haul to get to that spot. There must’ve been something going on behind the scenes because I don’t even recall him being that bad, at least not enough to warrant being traded after 4 games with a .500 record and 5/2 TD-INT. If they didn’t luck out w/ Brock Purdy, that entire FO would’ve been canned. The whole situation has always been intriguing to me. If it was a character thing then he wouldn’t be on another team. It’s not his stats because we’ve seen guys like Zack Wilson & Bryce Young put up horrid numbers yet get insane amounts of chances. If anybody has more knowledge about the subject I would be happy to hear. 1 Quote

The Firebaugh Kid Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Thank you for this reminder of why we praise the football gods for sending us Mr. Josh Allen. I forgot about this drought gem. We were an absolute mess. 1 Quote

I think if they had a poor season, Lance would have got to another shot 1 Quote

Ngata and Mangold would've been a helluva first round. Quote
