I really hope he get the help he needs and can live life normally. I also look forward to not hearing anything more about him in the media. Unfortunately that realistically probably means he is dead.

This man lived in Tom Brady’s house and about a year or two later….Gisele filed for divorce 😂

I think that's an example of "correlation not causation".
Gisele filed for divorce when Brady said he'd retire, only to come back for one more season.

I think it could be a bit more of a compounding issue, maybe it wasn't something AB did specifically more like Gisele put up with all that ***** including all the way up to him inviting AB to live with them in his drive to try and win another one towards the end. Then when he does finally retire he's like nah maybe I'll keep playing after all, and that was just too much for the damn to take.

Let's wait until all the facts come out. I think there's more to the story. The police and prosecutors initially throw everything at the wall and see what sticks. And the police already let him go after talking to him. He is also tweeting openly every few hours, unlike a man in hiding. Could be self defense...or not. Not trying to minimize this, but something smells fishy.

Smells fishy? Perfect. Line him up next to the other lunatic wr in Miami.

Good point. All of his priors are probably b.s. as well, no?

I don't know a thing about what AB did or didn't do.

But at least around here, police have to have evidence before the prosecutor will pay attention.  And then the prosecutor, oft to the frustration of the police, wants a case they feel they can win.

So I'm not sure where the "police and prosecutors initially throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" notion comes from.   Generally speaking.

There's a video of some of the incident

me, McD and Beane for sure.  so what?

You hate diva WRs who wear out their welcome, remember?

And McBeane only wanted him if they didn't have to pay him any guaranteed money.  Which is why he (thankfully) refused the trade.

AB was 2 orders of magnitude better than Diggs at that point.  Diggs never rose to that level to be the kind of diva he was in Minnesota (forget Buffalo).

He refused because he didn't want to play in Buffalo.

Right.  Brown was so stable in Pgh and afterwards...

And he refused because they wouldn't give him guaranteed money and could cut him without repercussions.  He agreed to go to Oakland because they did give him guaranteed money.

He was a handful in Pitts at times yes.  But he was the best WR in the NFL.  Diggs....not so much.

The disagreement wasn't about guaranteed money--Rosenhaus wanted the Bills to redo the remaining years on AB's contract.  Beane refused (but was willing to part with Bills #9 pick).

AB was a nobody after leaving the Steelers.  They got the best years out of him.

Yeah, "redo the remaining years" meant guaranteed money.  Like the Raiders gave him and as a result only had to give up a 3rd and a 5th round pick.  And the Raiders were a worse team than the Bills, having come off a 4-12 season so it's not like he spurned the Bills and agreed to sign with the Raiders because they were a good/better team.

No link needed.  Brown was looking for guaranteed money and that's why he was causing problems in Pgh.  McBeane only would trade for him (never saw that they were willing to trade the 9th overall though) if he played under his existing contract, which meant no guaranteed money.  It was a smart move on their part and avoided paying anything for a guy who was spent by then.

Authorities in Miami-Dade County are seeking to arrest former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown on a charge of attempted murder stemming from a shooting at a celebrity boxing event in May, according to a warrant reviewed by The Washington Post.

The warrant, which was signed by a judge Wednesday, lists a charge of attempted murder with a firearm and calls for Brown to post a $10,000 bond and remain under house arrest pending trial. Efforts to reach Brown, 36, were unsuccessful Thursday evening; it was unclear whether he was represented by an attorney. A spokesman for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office declined to comment.

People laugh, but this is extremely sad. AB’s mental health is deteriorating in front of our very eyes in real time. It was only a matter of time before he completely destroyed his life. Thankfully he didn’t kill someone or even multiple people. Never a good look for the NFL anytime CTE hits the news, but is a very real topic of discussion. I seriously pray for this guy. It’s only going to get worse. I was expecting a Jovan Belcher situation.

I hesitate to blame this all on concussions.  He seems to have had issues at every level of his career.

I am pretty sure he was stupid and sociopathic before the concussions.
