Kent Hull beloved by his teammates and sadly most of the people who vote in Hall never got to see him play. Him and Steve Tasker deserve the honor of being a Hall of Famer, there teammates in the Hall néed both of them there.

If the Bills won one of those Super Bowls I am pretty confident Kent Hull would've made the HOF

He was Thurman before Thurman, but his time was short-lived with the Bills.

 

It’s also under appreciated how good of a receiver he was. Go watch highlights of the Cleveland game in 1981 to see how good of a receiver he was that in talking about.

Mark Pike, probably the 2nd best special teams player in Bills history. 

 

I just think he was a tremendous ST player and if not for Tasker, probably would have had a ton more publicity.

Ron McDole. Bills traded him because they said he was over the hill. Went on to have an amazing remainder of his career with Washington. The Dancing Bear!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Darryl Talley.  We all know how much he meant to those early 90s teams. But he never got anywhere near the recognition nationally  that the other stars on those teams got. Was a Pro Bowl snub a few times. He really was the heart and soul of those defenses.

I am gonna go in 3 loosely defined era's Early, Middle Current... 

 

Early - Bubby Braxton met him once super good guy was my favorite player in the era. Punishing FB instrumental in helping OJ to 2000 yards, devastating blocker, and had running ability as well. People here remember him... not sure he ever got the recognition in the shadow of OJ

 

Middle -  Kyle Williams this is really end of middle started in 2006, I believe he may have gone to a pro bowl... but this guy was drafted after John McCargo lol, I dont remember a bad game, he was a pit bull and a major leader during a period that there just was not a lot of over all talent on the team.. this guy brought it everyday. We need more like him

 

Recent/Current - Shakir just something about this 5th rd pick, never going to be confused with Justin Jefferson, but he gets open makes clutch catches takes tough hits runs after catch and imo is headed for a 1000 yd year if he stays healthy.  I think we appreciate him as a player, not sure he gets the recognition he deserves outside of here for what he means to the overall WR room.

I really wish Kyle Williams was around for this era. I remember his NFL breakout game against the Steelers. The Stevie Johnson drop. He was absolutely obliterating the Steelers G (Willie Colon?) and driving him into the backfield nearly every play. He showed brilliant flashes beforehand, but this was the game where he put it altogether. If not for that inexcusable dropped pass, Kyle would’ve single-handedly won that game on his own. 
 

He was an athlete through & through. With his stocky frame, low center of gravity, and acceleration I think Williams would’ve been a HOF level fullback. I truly believe that. Look at how fast he reacts and hits the hole on this play. And this is a DECADE+ into his career.

Off the top of my head… Willis McGahee gets loads of hate. More than any player I can think of with his level of production. Rushed for 3,365 & 24 TDs in only 3 years here. Went on to play for another seven years after leaving Buffalo, had bit of a career renaissance at 31 as well when he rushed for 1200 yards in Denver. 

 

Edit: That Miami Hurricanes squad produced some legendary players. Their RB depth chart is only rivaled by the Thurman Thomas/Barry Sanders duo in Oklahoma IMO. Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee as your RB stable is crazyyyy.
