Just saw it. Loved it. And there is going to be some memes at the expense of Josh because of some of Hailee’s scenes. But she does a great job

Or comments/tweets like this one from Sauce.

Both of my sons saw it, both highly recommended it.  My oldest saw it twice already. Both specifically told me I need to see it. My youngest told me I'd like it because it has a ot of blues music in it.  I know it takes place in 1930's Mississippi, so yeah, I figured the blues would come into play.

But they really liked it.

If you like old blues, stay for the extras after the credits.

I think it’s common knowledge that blues music is the favorite music genre of vampires everywhere.

I read that somewhere. Or maybe wrote it.

I’ll try to find some of her work that does not involve vampires, it’s just not my thing. Serious question, is there another movie of hers people might recommend? I would like to see her in action.

I literally don't go to see movies, or watch them at home. The last movie I saw was the first Stars Wars with Rey in it. My step kids are Star Wars nerds, and it was a family event.

Anything anyone would recommend?

True Grit is awesome.

She was great.  Jeff Bridges was better than John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn.

Barry Pepper was a good villain.

Hallie ultimately stole the show.

The Coen Brothers' version of True Grit is a masterpiece, in my opinion, and she was the highlight (alongside a great Jeff Bridges). There's a reason she got an Oscar nomination for it.

Thanks, maybe I’ll do that tonight with the wife. I was just flipping around and came across 3 Days To Kill with Hailee and Kevin Costner so I’m getting my first taste now.

there have been legends about blues music and supernatural stuff for years. The vampire stuff is actually a fairly small part of the story as there is a lot of character development. But it’s not for everyone.

My kid saw it and said it was great. Wants to see it again so I’ll probably go. Anyone see it? I feel obligated since it is Mrs. 17.

You know who else is in it?  my wife's cousin.  Im not much on vampire/horror movies but I think we'll go see it before the family reunion
