Whack Weak Sauce GIF by StickerGiant

Ok I'll spell it out then

We are pretty much guaranteed a division title and a home first round matchup against a low seed. Our Super Bowl path is and has been fairly straightforward and our off-season moves can be thusly informed

The Bengals' path is more complex. To earn a division title for them means battling one top tier AFC contender all season in a difficult division. Falling short of that, a wildcard puts them on the road vs another top AFC team, then at least one more en route to the AFCCG. They need to construct their team for multiple paths and assemble personnel to accommodate

Is that clear enough or should I write it in crayon for you

I'd be in on Hendrickson if we could get him. Can you imagine THAT defensive line? Groot, Bosa, Hendrickson, Oliver, Sanders, Jones, and Walker. We'd have 60 sacks.

No with our secondary.

I’d rather have a ball hawking hard hitting Safety, but i’d start making calls about Hendrickson or Micah Parsons.  I’m worried about the defense here but it’s probably more from PTSD

The fact you take issue with me calling the Bengals a garbage organization is kinda bizarre, this isn’t some crazy take lol.

Mike Brown is a bottom 3 owner, this is well documented lol. I don’t care that they have a tough division, so what ? You have a top 4 QB and you struggle to make the playoffs. Maybe stop treating your players like it’s 1975 and change the culture.

You obviously have some affinity for the Bengals, that’s fine… we just disagree.

The Bills have no cap space - the very least in the league.

Why do people still think this matters in 2025?

We could make the cap space to sign anyone we wanted, if we wanted.

This is simply not true. He wants a LOT of money. Rather than saying the cap doesn’t matter, show me a path to getting there, bearing in mind the restructures they’ve already done to get under the cap.

The Bengals don't have to win their division to make the playoffs and have a chance to win the Super Bowl.  Their problem is that they can't even make the playoffs with a last place schedule, the best QB/WR combo in the NFL, and a 3-3 divisional record because their OL doesn't protect Burrow well enough, their running game is mediocre, and their defense stinks.  Their "solution" is to double down on their receiving corps and kick their best defender to the curb.

So, apparently the Bengals will likely want an "impact" player or 2 in a trade. Well, now I know why the Bills aren't in the conversation....they have no impact player they could give up.

We could always give them a player who would have a negative impact!

It actually IS true. The money doesn't matter. Have you seen the Eagles books?

Here's an explanation:

The cap issue is irrelevant.  I can't believe that even Mike Brown would be so stupid as to approve of a trade of Hendrickson to a top contender in the AFC.  If they pull off a trade, it's likely to be to the NFC or an AFC bottom feeder.
