They may indeed be. But that’s not unusual if you sit in the front row of any stadium. It’s required by the Building Code. However….with regards to the renderings, keep in mind much depends on the height of the view angle established by the architect’s animation. Quote

I will defer to you, but if I was offered seats with thay being the virtual view…I am passing. Wouldn’t you? Quote

Yes, I would. Especially since you can pick seats just a couple seats further from the aisle and avoid the issue altogether. Quote

Ultimately that is it. I am being asked to plunk down thousands of dollars in order to buy seats in this location for 30 years. To me, it is a big risk. When the stadium was first being put up, I really wanted front rows of the 400s, until I started seeing these virtual shots. It does seem that security/ushers will really need to watch those stairways and keep them clear, lest people's views will annoyingly be blocked often. The railing itself will likely be livable in most seats. *Our location was in the 300s anyways and we are in the back in the end zone, right where we are now. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago FWIW, these are pretty much the equivalent of my seats in the new stadium. I may even be a touch closer to midfield than most of these (about the 25 or 30). My PSL is less and so is my ticket price. Quote
Chicharito Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I got my PSL back in December of last year. I wish I would’ve waited. The problem with VR is you actually don’t get to see the logistics of the stadium. I am currently in 108 and choose to sit on the opposing sideline because it’s the sunny side. I went to the stadium yesterday for a tour (work related) found my seat and it’s in the shade and will always be. BTW I’m envious of the upper deck now because the view is spectacular. Unfortunately I can’t post pictures because it says the file is too large. 1 Quote

Bummer, I am in the upper deck, pretty high up (I actually prefer these types of seates) and would love to see an actual pic 1 Quote

I actually prefer shade...no sun in your eyes and you can see everything. But to each his own. 1 Quote

I've been trying to look at video and photos of the new stadium to try and see when, at different times of the year, my seats will be in the shade. Tough one to calculate. Quote

From my experience I was there from 8am until 1pm on a day with my clouds in the sky at all. The way the stadium sits the south end zone will never see sun. That end zone would be the bills side of the stadium now. Obviously the sun sits higher in the sky earlier in the season so the sun will shine from about the 50 yard line north(southwestern). Also I was disappointed to notice that I’m in row 30 and it appears I will be on the drip edge of the canopy. I couldn’t get a full view because they have a platform built off of the canopy so the new heating system can be installed. All in all the place is beautiful and Big. Very open on the 100 level concourse. Baseball stadium feel. But boy let me tell you. I hope the escalators don’t stop working because it is a lot of steps going from bottom to top. Bathrooms galore some have 24 urinals. Women won’t be in men’s bathrooms anymore because those bathrooms are just as big with 24 toilets. 2 1 Quote

I'm in what I believe is the southeastern corner of the stadium, so it's the Visitor's side, directly above the tunnel where the visitors enter and leave the stadium. Seems tough to predict when that area will be in sun/shade, since my guess is it will be right in the transition zone on most game days depending on the start time. Quote
Chicharito Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I am in the same area . I wish I could post the pictures because I could show you the shadows and what areas get sun. Safe to say you’ll be in the shade Quote

I went up to a game from Florida and my one and only buddy who stayed in WNY drove me to the game. I got a seat with the sun at my back, I was coming from Florida. He’s with a group who have had season tix forever, and he said their 40-45 yard line seats are in the sun on purpose. Every little bit helps, he says. He also sits in lawn chairs in the driveway because that is the sunny side of the house. My wife understood my childhood better after this most recent trip. It might explain some stuff. 🤷♂️ Yes, to each their own, but I don’t love the sun in my eyes. I don’t want to have to wear a hat the whole time to see anything. EDIT: If you want to talk hot, I don’t recommend day games in Florida before Halloween. Yikes! I’d turn down free tickets. There was a reason they were free. Edited 1 hour ago by Augie Quote
