BuffaloBillyG
Dedes and Archuleta are awful. And loved Lofton as a player but his announcing leaves a lot to be desired. 1
JoPoy88
Matt Ryan huh. Well I went to BC so I suppose I have to wish him well but I don’t think that’s going work out so great.

[At least he and Buffalo probably have something in common: hatred for the Patriots, lol.]

Still cannot believe that Kevin Harlan is not part of the #2 team. He's way better than Ian Eagle.
BuffaloBillyG
I don't mind Eagle, but agree Harlan is better. I don't think Lofton is terrible. I have heard him do some games and he's ok. I do find that when he does Bills games he almost works too hard to show he's being impartial and almost comes across Anti-Bills at times. I suppose that's the main issue I have with him. 3 minutes ago, Mark Vader said: I think Lofton is a good announcer, far better than people give him credit for. FLFan
It’s no surprise that the Jets will be the darlings and primary focus of the national media, include game broadcasts. We’ll see how long that lasts, but it’s been that way all offseason.

Well, they are not arbitrary. There is a definite ranking. That's why Nantz and Romo will almost always get the top game each week, depending on how CBS ranks the games (this year a lot of Jets games). Same reason why McCarthy and Lofton get worse games. A lot depends on potential TV viewership, time/day slot (perhaps a Christmas day or eve matchup), and players they want to showcase, like Bryce Young early on. KC is also really popular, obviously, because of Mahommes, his MVP's, and their SB's. Edited July 27, 2023 by chongli

I think Spero Dedes is good, personally. He is underrated. Adam Archuleta is just a guy, though. I think you can do a lot worse than them, though. Agree that Lofton is not a great announcer, but he is ok.

KC gets more late slots because they get to play 3 late games at least by playing at their div teams
