by running you mean at the federal level. dont go looking at state houses, local and what not.

But explains why you all went full blown federalist and attack things like the Electoral college.

Never mind Blue states are leading in the nation in people fleeing from them.  that has to be some quinky dink.

people are realizing/fealing what disaster DEM policies are at the national level. AGAIN

You keep on bringing up this people are fleeing blue states argument

You do realize that people are moving in to replace them right?

You’re having a general re-organization of people that didn’t belong in blue states moving to red states and vice versa

I live in Colorado, a blue state with 2 Democratic senators, Democratic control of both state houses, and a (gay) Democratic governor.

And somehow people keep coming. Too many people; they should have shut the door after I arrived.

But on the larger scale, it's a pretty well-run state. Relatively low state taxes (a flat 4.4%), pretty efficient government services, etc., etc. No, we are not California. The whole "disaster area blue states losing people, well-run red states gaining them" is painting things with far too broad a brush.

Word has gotten out that you have moved there

Colorado's population growth rate has been slowing down recently

Colorado has seen its population growth rate slow drastically in the last two years.

DENVER — As we all know by now, Colorado is quite a popular state for transplants.

However, you may be surprised to find out that the overall population growth in Colorado has actually slowed in recent years.

Recently purple state that is now blue. So still moderate but shifting more leftward.

Give it another 5 years and you should have gone full crazy.

Yep. This is how the inevitable national divorce will play out.

You do realize that majority of blue run cities are devolving into third world countries with the lax policies they brought in? Would you like to live in San Francisco now? I don’t see anyone who isn’t homeless or a junkie moving INTO San Francisco. Businesses are leaving, normal everyday citizens are leaving. You do see that don’t you?

I have a good friend  that is a building manager in SF,  just off the expressway just south of the Bay Bridge.  It s a small (4 story) office building. At least once a week, the custodial staff has to hose down s**t off the sidewalk. They had to cut down trees (not big ones) in front where bums  would climb up to a flat roof on top of the first floor and try to break in the building. At least they don't have  tents on the sidewalk.

Ding....*****

F-16 would be so useful. First, they could wipe out the Russian advantage with attack helicopters by knocking them down or hitting their bases with long range glide bombs, that would speed the offensive. They are also said to be useful in shooting down incoming missiles

I attended a conference in Seattle recently. My colleague who has Seattle in his territory told us we needed to look for these five things below.

Within a few blocks of the convention center I witnessed four of five.

1. Shoplifting - check.

2. Public urination - check

3. Human feces on sidewalk - check

4. Hard drug use in broad daylight - check.

5. Someone getting mugged - did not witness.

No, it’s not sexual assault. It’s sexual assault if eva was offended.

Trump is a piece of trash, John, but you brushing off Biden clearly groping Eva Longoria in front of all of those people is a really a terrible look. You think every woman reports sexual assault?

Oh, I agree. We have a formerly ulta-liberal governor who (like all governors and senators) seems to think he's presidential (vice presidential?) material. So he's been weirdly, unexpectedly moderate so far. He handled COVID remarkably well - I traveled to both anything goes red states and ultra liberal blue states during COVID, and I thought he threaded the moderate needle here perfectly. He's also stopped the state legislature from enacting some of their more wacko ideas. But if he's gone, then what?

Biden strikes me as being in Leonard Cohen's final stage of the Six Stages of Man. You get so old you're actually cute/harmless.

The Viagra'd-Up Trump is stuck at Stage 5. There's a difference.

Y’know I was talking with some of the guys . . . some of the guys in the band are kind of over the hill. And they were talking about the various stages that a man goes through in relation to his allure to the opposite sex. It was not a scientific evaluation . . . just something that arose over a cup of coffee.

It went something like this: You start off irresistible. And, then you become resistible. And then you become transparent – not exactly invisible but as if you are seen through old plastic. Then you actually do become invisible. And then — and this is the most amazing transformation — you become repulsive. But that’s not the end of the story. After repulsive then you become cute – and that’s where I am.

I be willing to bet that most women find them both repulsive, especially the ones each has groped.

The women and underage girls in this video look completely at ease with Joe's groping and sniffing.

It's cute and harmless!
