Billsfanatic8989 Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM Posted yesterday at 04:36 PM They will sell the stadium out. It will look better than the Ralph. But I am worried the atmosphere in terms of fan noise etc will not be the same. Quote

Watch the screen, we are regularly at like 105 decibels on key 3rd/4th downs. Enclosing the end zones is going to make a world of difference. For reference KC sells ear plugs and Tylenol at their concessions. The Ralph has never been as consistently as loud as KC was when I was there and it wasn't close. And it's all because of stadium design. 1 Quote

Buffalo has that blue collar affect that will be missing at this stadium. 1 Quote

Rich Stadium is more wide open and level whereas Arrowhead is tighter and more compact if that makes sense? 1 Quote

Buffalo has that blue collar affect that will be missing at this stadium. It has nothing to do with the fan bases. It has everything to do with the steep slope and enclosed end zones in KC vs open end zones and gradual slopes of the Ralph. I don't think either fan base is remarkably different than the other. 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted yesterday at 06:06 PM Posted yesterday at 06:06 PM I agree with both points...the new stadium will actually be much louder than highmark But at the same it will lose some of its blue collar charm and atmosphere 😕 It was bound to happen at some point. Just thankful for all the memories and great times we've been able to have over the years. This old barn will surely be missed 1 Quote

The new stadium will be significantly louder than the current one. 1 2 1 Quote

We typically try and load each image up with as much ‘entourage’ as possible so that the viewer can read multiple possibilities into a single image. The Bills aren’t planning on hosting formal attire dinners during Monday night football. The point is to lure such events to the stadium when there isn’t a game scheduled. 3 hours ago, Fleezoid said: Wow. So now all the Bills fans can go to the stadium in their suits and gowns and enjoy their tea and strumpets. The timing on Fleezoid's post, immediately after SoCal's post, couldn't have been more perfect. 1 Quote

K-9 Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM Arrowhead had many innovations for stadium design at the time, but the thing I appreciated most when it opened was the addition of arrows on the yard markers to indicate which goal line was closest. Unless the ball was at midfield, the TV angles didn’t inform viewers where the teams were exactly. Quote

I had "Coaches Club" tickets for the opener @ NYJ a few years ago. I have to say it was pretty sweet. It's packed even though everybody in there has tickets in the stands. Basically you have to go through there to get to your seats. It's free food and free drinks. Raw oyster, prime rib sandwiches, nachos, pretzels, whatever. And of course TV's all over the place. Given the PSL cost for th club seats I imagine maybe something similar? Unsure though. At MetLife it is directly next to the sideline behind the Jets bench (there's one on the visitor side too) with field access. I am actually in a bunch of the Aaron Rodgers pictures when he came out of the blue tent on the cart. If Buffalo can provide something similar it should be highly desirable. It would even be a good space to do sales kick offs, presentations, etc. during the week It's not a bad idea. 6 minutes ago, Einstein said: I sat next to a guy a few years back who was touring stadiums (not a Bills fan), and he said about mid-game that it was the 2nd loudest stadium he had been to (behind KC). I don't disagree. But I don't think it's a fan base issue, it's an architectural issue. I imagine the new stadium will push us to the top or at least on par with KC. They have the decibel thing up all the time and Arrowhead rumbles at like 120 dB on meaningless 2nd downs. I've never been to a stadium that is as consistently loud at such a high level. It was remarkable. And I don't mean that in a way that takes away from Bills fans at all. Again, I think it's a stadium design issue and the new stadium will help tremendously. Quote

I know a guy, that knows a guy, that works for FedEx in Philly, and is the one to decide which clients get which season tickets to games. He also goes so he can see which clients actually use them and who they send to games, so his department can determine which clients/companies may get better deals on shipping and which can pay regular rates. I've been to Arrowhead multiple times and it certainly is loud But it has more to do with again design compared to fan fanatics lol Buffalo has hit 115 120 decibels which is typically around what Arrowhead is anyways Very rarely is Arrowhead 135 plus but it definitely does get louder because of the design absolutely I'm pretty sure the new Bills stadium even with 60,000 will be very loud Edited 2 hours ago by Buffalo716 Quote
