Any news about KC? If we win Sunday.

Ugh. I was hoping that you would only be allowed to buy the number of seats you currently have. I have 2 but the email says I have the opportunity to buy 6. So by the time my time slot is available, the tix will be probably be gone. šŸ˜”

Ā Having a business mentality towards holding tickets isnt very cool.

Ā

Im not saying youre a bad guy or anything...but whoever came up with the idea of flipping tickets for profit isnt a very cool person. If you buy the tickets go...if you cant at least get rid of them for what you paid. Someone would gladly like your seat. If not, you dont renew.Ā

Backwards thinking like this (plus the fact that there are 9 pages of outdated posts) is the reason that even @SDS doesn't sell his tickets in theĀ Bills Tickets and Gear section (and note he was selling at a profit).Ā

Ā

I sell some of my tickets (many times all and then buy on the open market) because it's the only way that I can afford them. I've tried to offer them here at the TM list price before fees with poor results. Would rather have a Bills fan next to me than some rando. Plus after moving my seats this year (in prep for PSLs) I regret it as I have not run into ANY STHs who actually use their seats and my area is overrun with the Brie and Wine types, one who actually scolded me for jeering too much on Sunday.Ā Ā

Ā

I'll give you the same deal I've offered before, pay me back the money I've lost on my tickets over the years and I'll give you a pair to this Sunday's game for free.Ā

That cool enough for you, Mr Socialist?

how could they stop someone from reselling?Ā

you canā€™t 100% stop it - someone could always have a person Venmo or Paypal them; then walk into the venue with them.

Ā

But Tickmaster can absolutely put restrictions on the digital tickets that allow for no re-sale or transfer.

I amĀ a season ticket holder. I have set (refundable) plane tickets and hotel for the potential KC game in the ATL. They are thru Cleveland, SO CHEAP, and direct/nonstop.

My question isā€¦what is the process for ticket distribution?

Ā

The stadium holds 75,000 ppl In Atlanta. . We have 60,000 season ticket holders currently in Buffalo. I understand many wonā€™t goĀ

Ā

Did the Bills release a statement regarding this process?

Ā

Has anyone heard anything?

Ā

I understand that we need to beat the Bengals l, and thatā€™s a tall order. Iā€™m just trying to plan if it happens.

Thanks for any direction herešŸ‘

Go Bills!

oh interesting, ive never seen an event like that. although im thinking with the covid playoff games there was something...but maybe im just thinking you had to show ID because of vax card.Ā

Ā

Either way, nothing was put out in the emails about not being able to resell, and I feel like they would have if that was the rule. I fully expect the 10 am crowd to buy up the Bills allotment.Ā

face value superbowl tickets arenā€™t widely available though . Ā

They are if you buy through the team. Each team gets an allocation. I assume you have to win a season ticket seniority based lottery to get that shot.

What money did you lose throughout the last decade? You paid to go see 8 games a year.

Ā

Why are you buying season tickets if you dont plan on going to every game? Every game you dont go to should be an expected loss.

Ā

It's that your expert opinion? Season ticket holders should not offset their costs by selling seats? Or is that rule only in effect when the Bills are good? Funny no one complains about December game tickets going for $6 during the drought.

yup there is a lottery but thatā€™s very limited . Ā so the average person either has to go secondary market or official ticket package where the price is 5 k per

So I can get into every home playoff game in a good seat, at ticket cost, clueless.

Hopefully (for you) someone with the same lack of logic will sell you one at cost, or better yet give you one.Ā

Ā

Any takers?

Ā

We buy 10 tickets to an event where we have no idea what day or time the event can happen... so uh yeah sometimes the tickets get sold.Ā  Only a mug sells those for way under the market value when a profit can be made and then sells at a loss when a loss is inevitable.Ā  Ā We get forced to buy meaningless pre-season games at full value as well... but I'm sure you've cried tears for us all when that happens.

Any STH not planning to go willing to share their pre sale code with me via PM? Iā€™m flying in from Salt Lake so Iā€™m not a STH!!

No presale codes, we get timed windows to buy and the email with the unique link only shows up within 1 hour of the window opening.Ā  Hell we don't even know what ticket price ranges are available.Ā Ā

Gotcha thanks! Makes it hard then haha. Just need 1! Youā€™d think they wouldā€™ve included pricing info in the press release

I donā€™t know why youā€™re tagging me, but I wasnā€™t selling my ticket. A teacher at my childā€™s school had a seat for sale and I posted it for her. For I know she bought it at the same price and was looking to get her money back.

Honest question

Ā

For those saying that re sale shouldn't be an issue, and they should be allowed to re sell because for x number of years their tickets were worthless and lost x number of dollars

Ā

I have heard this as reasoning why unlimited re sale should be ok, but why are you a season tickets holder upset at "losing" money year after year. Why stay a season tickets holder?Ā

From my ticket rep - "prices will range $120-$750"

Ā

I'm guessing Atlanta's version of club seats will be the $750 seats?Ā  Anyway, for $120 I can at least get in the door and I'll probably look around the $250 price seats as that's what I was going to be paying for Buffalo.... if we beat the Bengals... damn lot of conversation for a game we may not play.

Saw your post (looking to sell a ticket, from context > face but < TM) and based upon the info made a bad assumption. My bad.

Ā

But AFA theĀ Bills Tickets and Gear section could you please give JustJack (or if he's not willing someone else) mod rights so outdated posts can be deleted.

Why do they think that then?Ā

Why stay a season ticket holder if trying to sell tickets? And consistently selling at a loss for games in December? Why not just buy a different package or individual games?Ā

I'm not upset. I ride the ups and downs every season. But I'm irked when people who aren't season ticket holders think they can dictate how we should use our seats.Ā

Ā

For me -Ā
Ā

What different package are you referring to?Ā  The Bills have either season tickets, or individual game tickets, and you're not getting those to things like the season opener at a reasonable price without season tickets.

I live about 3 hours away, and have 2 young kids with lots of weekend activities.Ā  I'm ok losing some $ on the games I can't make (and paying full price for preseason games.)Ā  I like knowing I can have decent seats at decent prices for the rest of the games and first crack at the playoffs as well.

I also understand that part of the bargain is sometimes recouping some of my cost on any desirable games I can't make.Ā
