BLOODBATH 2.0

I just think philosophically the Republicans have gone down the road that doesn’t end well for them at the ballot box. There will always be some areas that they will always win. I realize that, but the majority does not seem to be swinging their way.

The abortion thing total loser at the ballot box. You’re not gonna take women’s rights away and win on that issue with the majority of Americans.

We don’t have a fn choice - it’s either any Dem we run or fascism.

People need to quit their biching about Biden cuz the alternative is apocalyptic and the end of our republic.

The GOP is suffering from Terminal Very Online Brain. They do not realize that the vast majority of Americans don't spend their time going down internet rabbit holes and conspiracies. Many of the things they spend their time talking about sound like total gibberish to regular people. It's alienating them from the average voter and is going to continue to cost them in general elections.

Do you require that all your friends agree with you on every topic?

Do you unfriend and quit seeing those who dare to disagree with you?

Do you require that all your coworkers agree with you on every topic?

Do you ask that coworkers who disagree with you be disciplined or fired?

Do you excitedly pile on via social media posts when somebody steps out of line?

Do you unquestioningly follow all advice and “guidelines” from so-called experts even if that advice and those guidelines fly in the face of common sense?

Do you cheer when somebody you politically disagree with loses their job and/or is publicly humiliated?

Do you support criminal prosecutions of individuals for objecting to policies you support?

Do you get feelings of moral superiority from any of the above actions?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then you just may be a totalitarian and/or a useful idiot.

If you believe any of the above must be done for “the good of all” then you just might be a totalitarian. FYI, this doesn’t just apply to those on the left, even though it’s more prevalent on that side of the political spectrum.

.

You missed a few.

Do you instinctively call colleagues who disagree with you "commies" or "groomers?"

Do you frenetically cut-and-paste from sketchy Twitter and internet sites without reading the source material first?

Do you immediately assume that there is some conspiracy afoot whenever the things or people you support fail?

If so, you might just be a Know Nothing Trumpist.

Fascism="Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” ― Benito Mussolini

Federalist over states' rights

Using the state against political opposition

Identification of Enemies as a Unifying Cause People are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common enemy (anyone not in the mob, is a Trumper)

Supremacy of the Military The military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding.

Controlled Mass Media. The media is directly or indirectly controlled by the government.  Censorship is very common and supported.

Rampant Cronyism and Corruption. Friends and associates appoint each other to government positions. Officials use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability.

That’s cute. You’re clearing struggling coming up with actual democratic policies that are fascist.

Take the L and run to your next eye roll.

To my earlier point:

Democrats have been winning big in special elections

Democrats have been overperforming the partisanship of districts by 11 points in special elections this year. While it's incredibly unlikely that they are the path to a 11 point victory next Fall, special elections are more predictive than polling this far out from an election.

In other words you'd answer yes to one or more.

Which is to say that you qualify as a useful idiot per the terms in B man's post.

Congrats JFR, admitting your useful idiocy is the first step.

The race for control over one of the state’s largest school district has reached “astonishing” levels of funding for what used to be a sleepy race in a municipal election year.

The national culture war pitting parental rights activists against LGBTQ rights advocates has made Central Bucks one of two Pennsylvania “battleground” elections being tracked by Ballotpedia this year. The second battleground is nearby Pennridge School District.

https://censusreporter.org/profiles/97000US4205310-central-bucks-school-district-pa/

So, an enclave of NON diverse, upper middle class voted in DEMS cause the old district said all Flags had to be approved by the board, that had a huge increase in outside spending.

enrollment by Diversity

78.9%

White

9.2%

Asian or Asian Pacific Islander

7.1%

Hispanic/Latino

3.3%

Two or more races

1.4%

Black or African American

0.1%

American Indian or Alaska Native

0.0%

Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
