Mister Defense Posted December 24, 2021 Share Posted December 24, 2021 Devin Singletary will continue to establish himself as the Bills' primary running back after gaining over a 5 yards a carry on his first down runs against the Panthers. Between runs and catches he should touch the ball at least 25 times, and will get stronger as the game progresses, as most good featured backs do. More touches will play to his strengths--his elite vision, as he will learn more with each carry and establish a rhythm, and his motor. If the Bills are smart, and Dabol may not be, the Bills will spread the field and run from those formations. I don't know if the run will set up the pass or visa versa on Sunday, but this is what should happen. And what needs to happen if the Bills are to be true contenders again this year.
